Amazon Brand - Solimo Laundry Detergent Pacs, Free of Perfumes and Clear of Dyes, Free & Clear, Hypoallergenic, 120 Count(Pack of 1)

I buy unscented products because I suffer from chronic migraines. This means my smell senses are not only heightened during an attack but can trigger exploding cranial pain. It’s important to not have my clothing smell. This product works great and I don’t notice any smell after they’ve been through the dryer. Also the quality for the price is much better than the average detergent. I use two pods per load. One word of warning: these pods have a weird alcohol smell PRIOR to wash. Like when they are sitting in the tub and you open the tub and sniff it, it smells like a vat of alcohol. But this doesn’t translate to the wash, cold or warm. It almost made me send the detergent back, But I gave it a chance and the smell didn’t remain after wash.

I have a rare cancer where scents and cleaning products can cause anaphylaxis so I was wary of trying this, finally deciding if I hated it I would just use it for the pets stuff. However I am shockingly thrilled with it. It does an amazing job at cleaning stains without pre soaking, there is no chemical scent to it, it’s great on my skin and the price is fantastic. I only wish I had tried it sooner before I wasted money on expensive brands. I have already ordered more and will continue to, great product.

This laundry soap I first used when I was deployed since me and my unit would always be looking for pods and I decided why not get this large amount at a good price. It worked good over there and kept our uniforms clean and not smelling so when I got home I convinced my wife to give it a try and so far so good. I use 1 pod for a small was and 2-3 for bigger washes. Doesn’t really leave any smell which is why I like it but the clothes come out clean and the kids don’t itch.

Below is my original review. I was disappointed as I expected powder in the pod and experimenting pod useage. Anyway tested out with doggie blankets prepping for muddy paws. The Solimo Laundry Detergent PACS free and clear worked better than expected. I had not problem. They dissolved fine and the muddy blankets cleaned well as good maybe better that traditional powder and blanket mats ready for more muddy paws. So my original review was 2 stars. I upped it to 4. We should especially when Staying at Home, not that we don't already, give a minimum 48 hour waiting period before writing a review ; ) Well right now I am seeing how this 'pod' works. I was expected powder. The product is NOT described at LIQUID Laundry Detergent. It mentions Dissolves -- figured that was for the POWDER. The only reason I ordered it is I can't find Tide Free and Clear powder. I've never used a pod before. I like to control how much POWDER is going in the laundry. Not always full load, not always grungy, not always lights... you get the idea. I don't buy from 3rd, 4th, 5th party sellers on Amazon of something like Tide Free and Clear. Like all the reports of Bleep Bleep scammers hoarding essential supplies in the garage I don't know that I'm getting the actual product. Tide Free and Clear POWDER is a basic item that AMAZON should be selling. The should not be fulfilling NORMAL everyday products sold by other sellers. Those sellers should be for UNIQUE items, things that you can't get elsewhere. This items TIde Free and Clear POWDER has been delivered from Walmart but they don't deliver that now. WTF it is POWDER laundry detergent. I will try a POWDERED Free of Fragrance Free of Dyes Laundry Detergent from Amazon brand but I seem to be to get All Free and Gentle Allergy relief liquid -- but again I CAN DECIDE THE QUANTITY. I think the labeling of this Liquid Free and Clear Laundry Detergent Pod should be labeled. I'm disappointed and may updated my review once I see how well and dinky little pod stands up to blankets that are for the dog -- they are dirty and prepping for the rain and muddy dog. Thank you for letting me vent. I don't think people like to be surprised. I imagine MOST are disappointed. Still if I can only get this delivered, it will have to do. But had I read reviews I don't think I would have tried it. Thanks. p.s. if not clear -- VERY sensitive skin.

Something has changed on Tide pods and the sent now leaves my clothes and the laundry room smelling like some funeral parlor where the flowers are sickly overpowering. So I gave these Amazon free and clear pods a try and after using them on all my Tide clothes, they now smell very neutral, like fabric, or nothing at all. Maybe my nose is sensitive, but I will say my adverse reaction to Tide pods was severe and these Amazon branded pods have saved the day and my wife from listening to my griping about the smell. Why do we need to perfume clothes is a mystery. Are they not really clean enough to smell neutral? I wonder. Anyway, if you too hate the smell of perfumes, get migraines or want to break with the overly fake smelling world these day, then get these pods. No problems with proper packaging for shipment either.
