Ingenious design topology, very solid product, can work way over expectations
I really enjoy the folding, wireless charging, load capability and overall quality. This product is solid. The design represents out-of-the box creativity in design topology, tradeoffs and details! It eliminates headaches associated with roll side to side) balancing by allowing the phone to slide freely in the clamp without the interference of the tilt (up/down) servo, usually on the right side of the clamp, blocking the ability to slide the phone farther right in most gimbals of this class. Furthermore, there are no extra counterweights needed.Unlike just about every other gimbal of this caliber, its ingenious design eliminates problem with the roll servo getting into the field of view of wide angle lenses by placing it directly on the back of the clamp. It also helps with tilt balancing since it represents a counterweight to the phone. If you use a phone without case (or with very thin case like Pitaka) there is only the need to place the phone in the center of the clamp and turn the Snoppa Atom on. Oh yeah, you should load the app, which at least in the iOS world is very solid and capable.I went well over the intended use and added Moment lens with the necessary case, filter adapter and filter. That is tough to load to handle even for some powerful (and expensive) gimbals.I found some annoyances, none are unsurmountable and mostly by me using using the gimbal beyond the original intention. The original intention was - no fuss, not much balancing or setup. Just insert the phone roughly in the center of the clamp and film. That works great but dictates some limitations. The clamp is built just to accept "naked" phone and only clamps properly thin device. No fancy thick cases, etc. I believe that it is so that there are no problems with wireless charging as well as with tilt balancing. (I violated this limitation big time when I decided to use the Moment lens that are heavy, stick out a lot and the require thick and heavy case for it. I added the Moment filter adapter and 62mm filter. To balance this load, I had to add some very light (30gram or so) counterweights and modify the Moment case, but as you can see from the photos, the system can be perfectly balanced and can work perfectly with the huge , weirdly distributed load of 378grams. The Atom handles it flawlessly with inherent capabilities going well above the "intended" use.The tilt range is very limited, but I have the same issue with twice as expensive, "professional" gimbal costing twice what the Atom costs, not to mention the weight of it once balanced. The power switch is in awkward position and hard to slide (I must use second hand). The roll (left/right horizon level) doesn't sit in perfect alignment. (I would wish that they added level indicators and added level adjustment in the app). The object tracking doesn't work well. All these are nitpicks I can certainly live with. The benefits WAY outweigh them. I could have returned the gimbal, but I didn't. I really like it and highly recommend it to beginners, casual film takers as well as very serious ones, who don't like to drag heavy gear with similar capabilities. This is the reason I like to use phone to begin with. Like the saying goes - the best gear is the one you have with you. There is no reason not to be able to carry with you a phone with this tiny stabilizer, and take incredible professional, smooth and intricate shots.Note about the photos: the Snoppa Atom is off on all photos to show balancing is possible under all conditions with minimal weight increase. Balanced gimbal will give you longer battery life, smoother motion and video, as well as cooler servo motors, however you can use the gimbal with minimal or no balancing.

Bad Hardware and software.
This gimbal has a lot of problems I thought I could live with but now it's too late to return it and i regret buying it. The firmware is horrible with the app and you dont get the full capability of a gimbal because of the awkward placement of the arm that holds the phone. It's in the back so theres a very limited maneuvering space.I like that it has audio in and out and I also like the fact that you can charge directly from the gimbal.Wow. The battery life is amazing. I go up to 2 weeks without having to charge it on light to medium uses and it can retain its battery for a long period of time.But. It's s not worth the money. Get yourself a better gimbal because this one lacks in what it's designed to do.. be a good gimbal.

**Solid gimbal **
If your considering this bundle because of the external mic then I strongly advise against it. The mic feature doesn't work and no matter what external mic or cables you use will not help. Yes the mic works but what they fail to tell you is that it picks up the noise from the motors of the gimbal which will ruin your video. Everything else about the Snoppa Atom is great. Long lasting battery, very stable gimbal and can hold my S10+ without any problems. The LED light is bright and can be recharged via micro USB. Tripod is solid. The Snoppa app needs improvement. I hope the updates keep coming and that one day filmic pro can be integrated with this solid gimbal.

Sound is ruined by gimbal motor.
Pros:Functionally speaking this product is pretty versatile. It’s smooth, button capability allows for lots of easy transitions and filming capability. It seems to have a 3.5 mm microphone jack on the side also but this never worked on mine. Not sure if I was using it wrong or if it was just broken on not compatible with my phone. The app for this is pretty simple and easy to use.Cons:You cannot film with this unless you have a plug in mic for your device. The way the fumble is set up you pick up the motor sounds while it’s stabilizing and it ruins the video sound. If you have a plug in mic like a shotgun this eliminates the problem. The problem with this is that you cannot film forward of your body with a shotgun mic attached so you are stuck with a self-facing video, or a video with crappy sound. (This is ok if your are filming for just footage and do not plan on using the sound gathered during the video.Overall I’d say that it could be 4 out of 5 device depending on what you want to use it for. For all in 1 use it’s only about a 2 out of 5. If you want to make quality videos out of the box by something for more than 200 dollars. These budget gimbals are not for professionals.

Take your time studying the Gimble
I like how solid the item is. It definitely feels like it’s worth the price.

The Gimbal You Need!
If you do any video on your phone, then this is the Gimbal you need! It is small, lightweight and easy to use. You can take video with the Snoppa app, or go live on Facebook without any issues. The wireless charging is super handy if you are doing live video. The addition of the external microphone really helps with audio too. Overall I'm super pleased with this gimbal and highly recommend it!

Doesn't work
I've only been able to fool around with this for less than a day and it is already unusable. First I noticed it wouldn't stay leveled even after using the level calibration. Then it started to freak out. Now its "powered off" yet the arm is vibrating and moving. I can't get it to completely shut down and restart, can't get it to pair. It's just sitting on my desk jerking around, moving randomly and vibrating to its heart content. Not sure if the motors will eventually burn out or the battery will die. No matter what I do the gimbal isn't responding. I wanted to like this, the reviews seemed great guess it was too good to be true. Tried getting support and no response.
