We have hard well water and even though we have a water softener I could not live without this shampoo and conditioner. It is also perfect for our 10 year old grandaughter who has long blonde hair. Her hair tends to knot however the knots come out so easily with the conditioner. We use a wide tooth bamboo comb purchased here and I can comb through the knots like butter.

Very nice smell.

Ordered and reviewed same day. 9 fl oz bottles of shampoo and conditioner respectively plus (0.4 fl oz) 4 replenish masque packets and 1 color prepare packet.

As another reviewer noted, my first delivery came with one of the bottles leaking everywhere, so I had to send it back. The next delivery was fine. I’ve only used the product twice, so this is an early assessment, but I’m not sure it’s going to work out for me- I have a very dry scalp, which is why my hair stylist recommended this particular shampoo to me, and while it smells good and my hair feels fine, it seems to be bothering my scalp more than helping it. This may very well just be a problem for me, as again, I’ve had issues with my scalp for years. There might just be an ingredient that is irritating for me, personally. I’m going to try it a couple more times. If the irritation stops, I will come back to note it.

If you are interested in a Malibu C product, make sure to order the correct one as there are no returns. I accidently ordered Malibu C Hydrate Color Wellness Collection (instead of the Hard Water Wellness Collection). Luckily for me it worked out in the end. I gave the Hydrate Color Wellness Collection to my mom, even though she doesn't chemically treat her hair. She tried it and didn't like it, though we agreed it smells fabulous. She said it made her hair too soft (is that possible? lol). So, she gave it to a family member who colors her hair. She loves it! Malibu C Hydrate Color Wellness Collection gave her hair body and shine. It put back the softness she had lost. Her hair looks great! She said it is definitely for color treated hair. I'm glad I made the mistake. I recommend Malibu C Hair Care Line, only make sure to read the descriptions and get the product best suited to you (there are no returns).

I love this brand of shampoo/conditioner but upon opening the package, there was a mess in the box. The shampoo and conditioner had both opened and spilled everywhere. This has never been an issue before, so I’m not sure what happened this time.

First time dying my hair myself and a friend suggested I try this product. 10 out of 10, I would pass the positive suggestion on to others. The hair color prep is really easy to do (same with the hair masks) and the shampoo/conditioner smell really nice. The shampoo/conditioner go a long way.
