Best stick up light I have found.
Best stick up light I have found. I bought one at a store that closed for good years ago (Mervyn's) and I still have it and it is working great so I tried to find them online and I found these and they to are great. Buy one and you'll see.

Do not buy this product, I have had it for about a month, and it is already on its way to the garbage. It has 3 LED lights inside the plastic bulb, of the 3 only 1 is now working, which makes it virtually impossible to see anything in a closet. Even when they all worked, the quality of the light and the brightness were quite poor that you couldn't even make out colors. DO NOT BUY, it is cheap, but why bother for a month's use, there are better products out there.

Worth it for the price and speed of installation
Nope, this is not the most rugged, reliable product out there, but for the price and for its average use, it's great.Installation took me about 10 minutes and that includes screwing a couple of screws into the drywall to secure the holder. Maybe 15 mins if you actually have to drill some starter holes.My use-case is a closet that doesn't have a light and doesn't get a lot of light. Even if it doesn't last very long, I could buy 10 of these before I'd pay an electrician even half their hourly rate to run wiring and install a standard light socket and switch.

More like a soft general area light...
Although the bulb looks like a typical incandescent bulb, it's not. It is made of plastic not glass, which is good considering mine was shipped from China and the seller just threw all 3 of them in a plastic mailer bag with NO shipping insulation materials other than the flimsy box that comes with each bulb. They do NOT put out the bright light like you may want, they are more like a soft general-area florescent light. They are ideal for power-outages as they are safer than burning a candle, but you would not put one above your bed as a reading light, its not that bright...For a general area like a closet it might be O.K., but its very soft light..The 2 little screws that comes with each bulb for the mounting bracket are useless, they are too small and will not hold long with everyday constant use. Consider other options for wall or closet mounting. The bulbs CAN be placed upright on a desk or shelf when needed, so they would be ideal for a bedroom or bathroom during a power emergency... FYI: The ones I got came in box with the infamous "AS SEEN ON TV" red/white logo .The seller worked with me to resolve my issues..

Boxes were chrushed when I took them out of the bag the came in, this cannot be good , but all was ok, no harm, worked great.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
I wish I could give this a 0 star. I am seldom disappointed by a product this much. It's a light that gives off no light. VERY, VERY, VERY DULL GLOW. A lightening bug could literally do better. All I wanted to illuminate is my 3 ft by 4 ft pantry. Also the seller is horrible. They say they offer returns but would not take the product back. They actually asked could I give it to a friend. Me thinking: Why would I disappoint a true friend by giving them junk?

The batteries die after 2 weeks, as they get drained by the unit.
