Great shed for the price.
Great tool shed for the garden well made for the price, down side is the time it takes to put together 3+ hours and Im a builder, screws are self tapping so get them right otherwise you will lose the bite, that said I would recommend.

Not easy to assemble but worth it in the end.
This is a nice looking little storage shed that won't rot like our wooden shed which is falling to pieces.Assembly was, well, not easy. I'm a tradesmen with all the tools and this unit was a challenge. It was doable though but if you're a novice DIYer it might get a bit much.I mostly managed it single handedly but I needed a hand to hang the doors. But the final result was worth the 4 and a half hours I spent on it.You'll definitely benefit from an electric screwdriver, PZ3, PH2 bits, a drill, some spare 3mm bits and a fair bit of patience. It looks good on my side driveway.

Generally well made, and a useful size.
Finally we have a place for all those other outdoor things we needed to have stored outdoors! The amount of gardening stuff we had cluttering the utility room was driving us mad, and this just about saves us from having clutter in a utility room, stuff that never even gets used over winter. We effectively bought this to gain space indoors.I must first say that 4 stars is a bit unfair, as my rating would be more like about 4.8, I just wanted to indicate that all is not perfect, just close to it.It needed to be assembled in-situ, in a small space only about twice as large as the garden store itself. It was difficult doing this as many parts are bulky and can be hard to manoeuvre in such a small area. The fully assembled store would have been impossible to move into this place from either access point. This also meant that having two people collaborating was also difficult, although in the end this was necessary for the base to be fully attached. Some parts could be assembled in more open areas, for example the doors can be assembled (door furnutire and hinges) just about anywhere and brought to the storage shed later, which is what I did. Given an open area to work it, this could be a one-person job, and if you watch the Lifetime online assembly video (which omits the doors for some reason) the whole process could be rather quick. With two people it gets far easier for someone to be shooting in the screws and the other holding everything steady but, with a bit of inventiveness, one person could do this quite easily. The instructions are quite simple, and the parts naming scheme made identification of similar-looking parts very simple. The blister packaging was something of a pain to use, and all of the screws and smaller parts come in these, so there's a lot of cutting that needs doing to get at things such as screws, etc. I wasn't going to be making this in one go, so I needed to keep these bits in the blister packs until they were ready to be used.A few other reviewers complain about the alignment of screw holes, or holes not being there at all. I suspect that they may not have paid attention to alignment and orientation when putting parts together (sometimes it's a case of aligning something properly in step 2 because that becomes important in step 7). The instructions use pictograms to show you what the aligment should be and, a bit like IKEA self-assembly, you do have to spend a moment understanding what the instructions are telling you.Two people are very helpful when attaching the roof. Having someone manoeuvering the roof and aligning the shed walls (these wobble about and go "out of true" when there's no roof to stabilise them) is very handy, and with two people doing this job, we made putting the roof on pretty much the quickest of all of the tasks. The build quality, if you've assembled it correctly, is excellent. It's designed very well to keep water out, with wrap around corners on the sides that attach to back and sides doors in a nice straight orientation that makes it easy to seal the shed. Humidiy will get in there, so it's going to be worth opening it fairly regularly, which is usually the case anyway. Water ingress will be unlikely barring a flood, since the parts are designed to be assembled in a way that directs water away from the interior. The interior size is very useful, and Amazon suggested a particular shelving unit to complement the shed itself (you can buy shelf packs from Lifetime, but we went with freestanding shelf units instead, since they have better load bearing and don't really stress the shed structure from being attached to the walls. These were "TAHA ® 4 TIER BLACK PLASTIC GARAGE STORAGE SHELVING SHELVES STORAGE UNIT SHED SHELF 133x60x30" and they fit really well. We have two of these, one orientated front to back on the left side and the other along the back wall into the right rear corner. There's still L-shaped floorspace for a variety of gardening tools such as spades, forks, brushes. There's also space for our pressure washer and a couple more garden gadgets that are quite bulky. We've tended to keep our tooks in the boes they came in, where possible, and this allows us to make things really tidy and quick to access in there. The shelves are now almost entirely filled, and we have a separate basket for the tools we got to very often, such as hand forls, trowels, secateurs etc. We may keep small electricals in there as well, a hedge trimmer, for example, when we are more sure about the moisture that may get in there. The only minus, and it's possibly a significant one for some people, but less so for us, is the deadbolts, These attach to the left door and extend into niches in the doorway opening. For us, the top bolt sheared at the handle end after just three uses. I noticed a niche cut into the deadbolt's latch and thought it was supposed to be there. Now I'm not so sure! The latch of the deadbolt is the part that goes over a "stay" so that the bolt can be held open and allow the door to move freely. Once it can't be latched, the bolt is useless. It's permanently extended, keeping a closed door closed, or preventing an open door from being closed. It broke when the door was closed, as I was trying to open the bolt, and I had to remove the bolt assembly completely to be able to close the shed. I intended to contect Lifetime as Amazon offer this, but it's a phone number in the USA, about as much use as a chocolate teapot to someone in the UK.We've locked the shed with a padlock for the moment, but its an annoying problem to have.Overall, though, its one of the best sheds I've assembled and put to use. I prefer it to others such as Keter because it seems more solid and, importantly for someone with my personal views on the Middle East, it's not funding a company that does business in illegal settlements in the West Bank.I'm new to Lifetime's products but, based on my experience here, it's a sound and also quite probably an ethical choice!

Top quality shed
I wanted a sturdy, easy access and aesthetically pleasing shed. This has certainly delivered.Every piece of this shed is solid. Each part is either clicked into place or sits neatly together but each piece is held together with plenty of screws.Shed is largely self assembly but a 2nd pair of hands is helpful for the roof. You know how solid this shed is when you are moving it around as it holds it's shape but is heavier than expected due to the quality. The colour and wood effect make for a pleasing addition to the garden but mostly I am happy that I have no future maintenance other than a wipe down.I have two of these sitting side by side and absolutely love them.Well made & worth the extra money. Highly recommend.

Something went wrong in the manufacturing of this shed
I ordered one of these a few years ago and it went together like a dream. I'm halfway through just the doors to put. I noticed the were slightly banana shape but thought once I get the steel fittings on that will straighten it up. Next the hinges, now I have a problem the hinge holes do not line up with the slots in the steel. The drill bit they supplied is rubbish, it broke. There are holes missing on the door for the door fittings, a lot more extra work needed that there should be. So far it taken me 2 days to get this far, now half constructed apart from the miss tooled doors I have spent £14 on new steel drill bits. I'm vervunhappy with the quality of manufacturing, something was obviously wrong in the manufacturing process. If you are a beginner in DIY, I'd advise not buying it, it gets very frustrating trying to get the doors on. Tried calling the manufacturer but no reply.

It will be rustproof in the majority of its construction, but could be better built.
It may be rustproof in the majority of its construction, but be careful screwing in the screws. If using an battery driver set the clutch way down, else the screws will just rip our of the plastic. Even with a normal driver you cannot reply on the screws becoming tight, for sufficient tightness. I my opinion I believe this would be best when assembled to be bolted to something solid, else it might pull itself to pieces. If I were to be asked would I purchase another ever, the answer would be no. Does the shed do what it promises, probably yes, just it could have been so much better with a little forethought.
