Very smooth taste; needs no sweetener
It comes in a foil-type bag, inside a lovely canister. I empty it out of the bag, into the canister, and leave it on my counter. I use a heaping teaspoon in about 8 ounces of very hot water (not boiling) and let it steep in my French Press for 3 minutes. It's perfect! Not too sweet yet it doesn't need sweetener. A perfect white tea! It brews a very light "white" tea, but with plenty of flavor! I love it! Very cleansing, too!

some fannings and dust among slightly toasted leaves
If you're using a tea ball or making your own tea bags, this would be fine. I use a coffee press and the mesh strainer keeps back all the fine particles. The flavor has a hint of cigarette butt, perhaps due to steeping the finer particles for 3 - 5 minutes along with the leaves. I like that White Tea from India is slightly toasted. It gives more flavor that leans toward a light oolong. I mix this with a light oolong and Jiaogulan leaves for sweetness. If the price becomes deeply discounted compared to whole loose leaf white tea from India, I would buy again. The tin it comes in is nice quality.

Quality and Expectations
I was excited to find a tea that sounded amazing in the description. I found myself a little disappointed when it arrived and I opened the tin. I am not an expert but I have done some research on teas and I expected a lighter leaf. The leaves I received look oxidized, the color of the liquid was similar to a burnt orange color after steeping 30 sec. in 185 degrees F water which is the setting for white tea on my electric kettle. I brewed again using the delicate setting of 160 degrees and received the light crisp color I was hoping for and steeped for just 20 sec. The flavor was flat until after a few sips in, faint floral, sweet, and fruity notes showed up. The body is very light, almost too light for my preference. The leaves are not whole as stated in the description, they are broken, which was very disappointing. It is not my favorite, but it will do for a go to tea to mix with something. Expected more for the price.

Teamonk White Tea
This tea was quite good with a lighter flavor than full bodied tea. We used it for the caffeine and catechin versus drinking coffee. My son, daughter, and I enjoy the tea hot or iced after making.

Wonderful Tea, Great Value
This is an excellent tea and a very good value. I recommend using a Gaiwan to make this tea for the best flavor, however, any method should be successful.

A Good option here in amazon.
First things first, white is great for all and it is better than green tea and the general tea ‘chai’ widely made all over the country with milk and sugar, and of course water, too.The first pic attached is the thing you get. It was well packed and sealed. As it says organic here in the product page, there was no mention of word organic on the container itself. The second pic is the tea leaves inside the container, remember that it’s not silver needle white tea, so yes it does look like this. How to brew- Boil a cup (120 mL) of water and leave it for 3-4 minutes (considering that you’re in tropical region) OR heat water to 80 degrees Centigrade. Put it out of flame and add a Teaspoon of White tea in it and leave it for 3-4 minutes. Filter the tea and it’s ready. Now wait, read to this line carefully. DO NOT THROW THE LEAVES. YES, DO NOT THROW IT. Get the leaves out of the stainer and transfer it to fridge to keep it same. You will use these ‘used’ leaves 🍃 the next time. White tea leaves is not single use tea. Silver needle ones are meant to be used thrice. This ninja technique was told to me by the tea seller in Ooty. Don’t believe? The 3rd pic attached is the tea brewed using ‘used’ tea leaves , for the second time. Try it yourself.

I was not disappointed at all
I had never had white tea before and purchased it only after a friend insisted me to. And boy, I was not disappointed at all. The tea is exceptionally delicious, and almost caffeine free. It’s delightful and I’d suggest it to everyone.
