Why is there not a column for grams of fiber
This book is very nice, but it would be better if it provided the amount of fiber in each item so that I could get the net grams of carbohydrates! The four pages in the back of the book don't provide the kind of information I just referred to for all the other listings! I like the size of the print and that the information is up to date but I need the fiber grams for each listing!!!

Print is not large
It said it was in large print, but I would have hated to see the small. Not sure what they meant by large print. We had ordered a different one a couple of years back and that was definitely large print

Good book with lots of food. Small text.
Very nice small book. It has lots of types of foods and even has many pages of foods from fast food restaurants. For me, (diagnosed with type 2 diabetes), I find the carbohydrates tell me how much sugar I'm about to inject into my body. I have to eat most of my food from fast food joints because of my odd shift job and my daytime sleep patterns. I spend most days or nights living a hotel room sort of life. So it also helps me to carry this booklet and pick the lesser of food evils for meals. The only negative is that it has small print and can be difficult to read for my older eyes. For that I remove one star. I looked on Amazon for a larger text version but only found 2018 books that had the larger text. So this smaller text 2019 version was more current and a bit cheaper than the large text version. But I now know I needed the larger text as I can't read this without a magnifying glass. Its presented and organized quite well, so its easy to find what you want. No book can give you every food you could eat. But it does have thousands of foods listed. So I highly recomend this book but if your eyes have a hard time reading tiny text, you might want to get large print versions.

Another Fantastic Edition of CalorieKing
There are many ways to seek nutritional counts of food, including online, but my go-to is the annual edition of CalorieKing which keeps me current on food counts in many ways---general, restaurants, grocery stores, brand names, etc. It is so detailed. As for the restaurant info, this book has given me a wake-up call on how many calories can be in a menu item that "appears" healthy but actually isn't. One needn't avoid a splurge or two, but is is better to be an informed consumer. The beginning of the book shares valuable nutritional and dietary information, and even BMI data. I purchase the larger print these days just because it is much easier for me to read, and I think it is still a handy size to slip in a purse or suitcase if you want to travel with it. I highly recommend this book.

Love it ! !
So many foods to look up and find them is hard sometimes for a simpleton like me. This is the very best book I have seen or had. I do know once I get use to where all foods and info I will be fine. You will NOT be disapointed.

So many places!
Type 1 Diabetes diagnosed the first of this month and my Dr gave me the 2010 version of this. It’s definitely been helpful but I wanted the newest one because of new restaurants, spreads and just newer stuff. This has so many items and restaurants. WISH it had the sugar content as well but it okay. I mostly need the CARB count for my insulin intake.

not exactly what I need
People have a lot of different preferences for what they'd like to see in a nutritional information book.In my case, what I want is:1). Calories for some standard quantity of a food. For produce, what I would generally want is the calories per pound. I weigh all my foods to do accurate calorie counting.2). Fiber for that same quantity of food.My two main issues with this book, for those things I've tried to use it up to now:1). Calories and fiber information are in different sections of the book. Nutritional information should be in the form of a table for the particular item- the nutritional information on the label for food you buy at the store is a good example of how it should be documented.2). For produce, this book gives the nutritional information for the item as you buy it. For example, take a medium avocado. At least they do say what the weight is for that item. But it includes the pit and the peeling. What I want to know is if I have x ounces of avocado after removing the peeling and the pit, what are the nutrition numbers for that. That's what I'm actually going to eat. I want to know what the nutritional information is for WHAT I AM GOING TO EAT.At least they do give weights, however, for the item including the non-edible portions. A lot of nutrition guides don't even do that, they say like "medium banana". That's just too inexact as far as I'm concerned.

Glad I got two.
Picked these up on a recommendation from a friend after my child was diagnosed with type one diabetes. Got two. One for each car to use in the restaurants and at the grocery.

Mostly American food brands calculated.
Most of the items were American and was unable to use this for British calculations, but included take away companies that are in the UK.

Not large print
The book itself has a lot of very good information in it but, I ordered it specifically because it stated that it was large print but when I received it it was very clear that it wasn't large print at all. In fact, it was printed in the same font as any normal book would be printed in so buyer beware.

Perfect for carrying in your purse
The only thing I use this for is for the carb counts. It is very comprehensive and even has the most popular items from most of the major chains. It is great for someone following Keto. You can find the carb count on almost any item. It has been very useful.

This is for USA only!!!
USA brands only. The book did not specify this in the write up. Avoid unless you live in the USA.
