Great tool

I've used it 3 times so far, I let a coworker use it yesterday, we both love it. This is not my primary hood I bought it specifically for tight places. I prefer the view of this hood over my primary due to the tru-color lense, that looks awesome, and so much clearer, I would replace my primary with this except the fact there is no UV protection for your forehead. The slip over mask with bump cap does not stay under the lip of the top of the mask exposing your forehead for UV (sun) burn. I simply used my soft welding cap and pulled it down under the mask, even that pulled out after manoeuvring around a little bit. For TIG welding you could lather on some sunscreen and be protected, however stick or mig you'll get peppered with sparks. Other than that, this mask is awesome, especially for the price.

Got this for my son and he absolutely loves it. He says it sits close enough to his head and neck that he can get into tight places, which apparently is what he needed. He's very happy, and that makes me happy. THANKS!!

It's a really cool looking setup! It darkens good it has a grind setting all that stuff is good, but just little stuff like how the protective lense bends around the goggles makes it look spotty. It's pretty big but I can get closer to my welds, its lightweight, doesnt come with instructions, comes with extra batteries and a little handy carrying case, fogs up in certain weather so use some anti-drug stuff on the inside.

I am a iron worker and thought this would be more convenient then a regular welding hood. The mask fogs before you can even finish putting on the head and neck protection and it doesn’t matter how tight or lose you put it fogs instantly stay away from this welding mask

I’m a pipe welder I brought this for position welds in tight places it’s ok except that it doesn’t have a power on /off .so if I don’t remove the battery after welding the battery dies otherwise it’s a good welding mask the bump cap design could use major improvement also it’s next to useless
