Its a plush dog toy so yes its not durable and you SHOULD NOT leave your dog alone with it. If you leave your dog alone with it then A - your irresponsible leaving them unattended with a plush toy they can swallow and B - your dog will shred this thing in 3 minutes.My Husky has a great time running around with these and we use it as a treat/reward but pick it up when he is done playing. I bought 2 of these and a few others that are very hard to track down. Want to see your dog have a ball and laugh your socks off watching? Get one of these. The noise they make are worth the cost.

The parrots are cute and for my small Terrier, are sturdy enough to last a long while. He is enchanted with them and plays by himself with them since moment of delivery. However, only one of the birds "giggle". The red bird does not work to make sound. I am not going to return as my dog has already played with them, but it is disappointing because he loves the sounds associated with his toys.I see from other reviews that this is not unusual - having one or even both of the birds not work to make sound. These are not cheap toys as far as dog toys go, and the rate of one or both of these not working for sound maybe should be addressed with a lower cost. Overall my dog like them, but not sure because of sound issue if I would purchase again...especially if that part is important to you and your dog.UPDATE: I was able to move around the "sound maker" in the red bird and it is working now. So based on that fact, YES, I would purchase again and my dog really loves these toys.

The media could not be loaded. Thus is so jot worth the price! Better off buying a more reliable brand like bark! 1 toy doesn't squeak/giggle and the other one barely "giggles". Also 1 pull and the leg was ripped off. My dog loves his "babies" and can destroy one in a day however, usually never in 1 pull! It was so flimsy, cheaply made and 1 pull on each limb and it was destroyed in seconds! It's NOT worth the price they put on it. Dollar Tree toys are stronger. I've tried to make contact like the insert from the company asked but have not received a response back. I will be attempting a return (even the destroyed one) if the seller decides to do nothing.

These toys are a good bargain. My dog has been playing with them for a couple years. They have a quirky sound when you shake them!! She likes using them for a pillow as well

Loved them, cute and funny, but for a small dog as the size might be a bit big ,not sure about med, to large dogs chewing them. Great fun and sound. I would have kept them for my toy collection if i wasn't over run with toys, but my dog would have them apart in minutes, they are quite large and not put together well with thin material. They would be worth the price but just not very tough, so it depends on your dogs chewing habits, and how hard he plays . I liked them .Everyone calls me the old toy lady. My dog is truly like the tv dogs if a box comes from Amazon she knows it. Wish someone wou!d/ could make a toy that lasted even if a week. Does any of this make sense? At 70 I rambel a bit.ya think?
