Q: can it be used on a table top, or while sitting?

I have not used it on a table top but if the legs are not attached it should sit level on a table. I have however used it, with legs adjusted, while sitting on a couch. Hope this helps.

Q: Is the leather made from a cow? :(

It has a leather handle, but I am sure if it’s real leather.
