I have bought over 24 of these to use on a tour and that had a casting challenge with limited space on faux pond with fake rocks and reeds around it. What I found out is the reel wears out really fast. Probably after several hundred casts, the line wears a notch in the spool from the line rubbing in the same place every it reels in the string. The 9 lb. test line then gets snagged in the worn pit and prevents it from casting properly and reeling in the line.ALL 24 of the reels wore out. Because I still had days left for the event i had to file the pit worn by the monofilment lint to round it out and get another 100 or so casts out of it.The internal metal the reel is made is very soft and cheep.So, my recommendation is if you buy one of these, know it has a short life before it starts to malfunction from wearing out.

I’m not a frequent Fisher I’ve only been out a few times and have never caught anything until now. Caught my 1st fish with this rod a 14 inch lake bass. Great rod it for beginners it doesn’t tangle and casts easily. Awesome small size that expands, easy to transport in your car without taking up any room and getting tangled on anything. Solid build it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. All and all it’s the perfect fishing rod for me and my kids.

This thing is amazing! I thought it extended to a full size rod, but it doesn't. However, I've already caught several fish. It's perfect for my kayak! My boyfriend is wanting to purchase one now as well!

This product broke within 5 minutes of use. We bought another one from Bass Pro Shop and it has worked great. Maybe luck of the draw, but sadly we missed a day of fishing and had a sad kiddo because the pole so quickly broke (release button and stringing issues).

Love this rod/reel I keep it in my car and my other one I keep in my hiking day bag awesome..just wish it was a little less expensive but it's worth the money..😏

I bought one of these last year. Both my parents loved it. So for Christmas Dad is getting the camo one. It arrived well before expected delivery date! I love the camo and orange combo...I know dad will love it!

This is my absolute FAVORITE fishing pole. Love the design. Love that it fits perfectly in my tackle box backpack. And love love love how easy it is to carry around with me basically all the time and now have to worry about it fitting in the car or anywhere else. I’ve caught some pretty decent fish on this bad boy :)

I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves this pole. It's a good quality fishing pole, only thing is like any new pole I replaced the crappy string that comes with it. I just might buy myself one now.
