I use it every day.
This item heats my back so well that I've strapped it to my desk chair so I can use it daily. Gentle, effective heat helps relieve my minor muscle pain. The heat is fully adjustable, measured in degrees Celsius. I recommend you start at about 38 (100.4 degrees F) and adjust up or down from there to your preference.

This YTS is AMAZING! I had a spinal fusion two months ago and I still have a lot of pain and muscle stiffness. I had been using a traditional heating pad prior to ordering this, but I read some articles about the benefits of infrared heating pads so I thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did, I do notice the increase of blood circulation in the area of use (my skin gets tingly and slightly itchy after about an hour of use). The heat and pain relief is definitely noticeable in much deeper level as advertised. My 75 year-old mother with similar back problems tried it out and now wants one of her own as she noticed the same benefits as I noted above! It also comes with a very nice travel bag. Highly recommend! No need to spend 3 times as much on the more expensive infrared heating pad, this one does an excellent job!

Warm and one great timer up to 12 hrs
It’s nice that it stays on for 12 hours and it gets 140•f I am fused at my lower spine and have a disc out of place above that one and I love the fact you can keep it on for 12 hours heat feels great

Don't purchase warranty not observed
We purchased the heating pad on May 9th, 2020. We have had this heating pad for less than two months and it has an area that appears to have melted. This caused burns to our sheeta and mattress pad. We are very lucky the house didn't burn. This should not happen. Update. In September emailed company about warranty. They asked for my address and it was emailed in October. We have been waiting on a replacement and asked for updates but have not received anything.

My chiropractor recommended an infared heating pad over a regular heating pad for me, and didn't recommend a specific brand. I decided on this one, and I have to say that I LOVE it.The pad is flexible enough that I think that if you wanted to wrap it around your leg or something it would be easy to do. I use it for my back, so I generally put it on my bed and lie upon it. The pad is large enough that it can come in contact with most of my back.The instructions suggest putting a layer of cloth between you & the pad. I have not used anything heavier than a flannel sheet and my clothes -- although I usually use it around 50-52 setting. Perhaps at its highest (65?) it may become much warmer to the touch.Although not seemingly feeling all that hot at a touch (at least under 55 setting), one should not think the pad isn't working. The best part about this pad is that the heat feels much deeper than your usual heating pad, and the heat is more noticable once you've been using it for a while. Although I usually use it for muscle pain and arthritis relief, I have found it has been especially nice for helping me find pain relief during a recent bout of pneumonia -- allowing my chest muscles to relax and get some more restful sleep than I had had without using it.My only complaint is that the timer only has hourly settings (1-12), no smaller increment choices. But this is a very minor complaint, as it is balanced out by being able to set it to multiple hours.
