Outside vs Inside.Outside speaking: The appliance is charming, nice mirror. Pretty fancy. If you just want a dumb mirror without any other functionality - that's ok.Inside speaking: Now, if you are looking for a smart mirror with tons of functionalities DON'T BUY IT. Looks like a product with zero maturity. Sometimes it turns on, sometimes don't. The gesture sensor is a kind of bad joke you have to get rid of. It's so dramatically slow and there are so many bugs that will mine your health.If you are outside of China or US the support doesn't cover you.Honestly, it's another tech junk to collect money from people (like me) don't read reviews.Starting now I will never purchase anything again without read reviews from stores and product.This lesson cost me: USD 200.00 plus 8 hours trying to solve issues and recording videos (requested by support).Shame on you guys.

Himirror updated their firmware on 1/26/17. It fixed the light problem I mentioned before. I still have to login to use the makeup light. Good thing is the light won't shut off accidentally anymore. After I login, I touch M button on the right hand side of the mirror, it will turn off the screen and turn on the light. The light problem annoys me the most. Since they fix it, I update my review to 4 stars. The quality of the mirror is nice. There are still improvements for user interface and app content. The app still has problem to sync the analysis report from the mirror, but overall, the concept of this product is good.I bought this product last week, but I had been having problems. The mirrior looks nice, but the firmware is very poor. It is annoy that I have to login to use the makeup light. The makeup light turns off every couple minutes. I have to turn it back on in the middle of putting on makeup. Sometimes the makeup light turns off and log me out from the system. I have to login again, and setup the lights again. It could be much better if they separate the lights from the rest of the system, user shouldn't need to log in to only use the lights.

I absolutely love this mirror! It was super easy to set up, the initial setup took me about 10 minutes. This is a must have tool, if you would like to maintain or improve the health of your skin. It takes a picture of your face and analyze its condition. It scores your skin based on its condition and compares it to the previous condition. It also gives recommendations of products that will work well with your skin condition and help improve your troubled areas. I started using the HiMirror Plus about 3 months and I’ve seen huge improvements. My skin is much brighter and firmer now. The lights on the mirror help me create a flawless makeup application. I would highly recommend this product to others!

I order the Hi Mirror for my daughter who has taken a liking to makeup tutorials and has become very interested in skin care. She absolutely loves the HiMirror and uses it constantly. It is highly recommended and is my daughters favorite device for skin care.
