FORA V30a Blood Glucose Monitoring System

I bought this meter thinking it would be accurate yet I find the my previous meter the little Tru-Test was the best with respect to accuracy. In comparison to others the Trutest meter was always spot on.The Fora V.30 vacillates by a minimum of 40 points to 101 points "WOW" this is not good. It is great looking but that is not why I bought it, I bought it because I though as slick as it appeared to be, and all that I had looked at and vetted with respects to its functionality it appear very feasible and reliable in comparison to all of the cross comparisons done. However, I must admit I do not recall any data with regards to the devises accuracy, and that most of the data on the meter and it's accuracy was definitively marginal if non-existent. Again not good. If I had to, I would say to the company, Hey guys get your techs to focus on the accuracy of the device since this is a device that many are relying upon to created monitoring records; and who often take this data to their doctors, who later make recommendations for medical treatments or even prescribe medications. Sweet techy device but un-reliable for important data. I took my reading today and the V30 read 214 while my Contour Next Bayer read 101.

I bought this meter because the strips for my previous meter became too expensive and hard to find. I was satisfied with my previous meter. This meter tends to read about 30 to 40 points higher than my previous meter so now I don't know which is correct. I am confused because I am not sure which meter is more accurate.

Dear Sir/Madam,I was ordering this FORA V30 blood glucose monitoring system and after I have received that there has no lancing device and I have to order again for that one. I think more cost and waiting more longer. That was too bad.

This is my second one of these. Have tried several others but always come back to this one.

i like it very much. It is strips are cheap and it works nice. I like it very much and would recommend it.
