Skechers Relaxed Fit Molten - Gavero

These are good quality boots. The fit is perfect, I was able to wear them all day from the first day, They're more of a fashion boot than a work boot, that is, a boot designed to look like work boots but not function like them. The soles slip easily in water or oil, so I wouldn't do manual labor in these. I weart them playing in a rock band, more appropriate. The finish is more like suede than polished leather. I wear them while riding my 650cc bike and they help with stability, which helps at stoplights (unless the road is wet or oily, in which case take care when you put your feet down because they will slip on the road). I wish Skecher would make more models of slip-on men's boots. The seems to be the only one left in the line. A really good motorcycle boot with nonslip soles would be great. The pull tabs have not separated from the boots yet like many people have written. I've been wearing them regularly for two months. Maybe Skechers reinforced them or I got lucky.

These boots are FANTASTIC!!! Extremely comfortable!! These boots are absolutely the most comfortable, convenient, tough, and foot-pleasing boots in my wardrobe. I work 12-18 hour days/6-7 days per week and I rotate these out with another pair of sketchers slip on work boots and lots of clean dry socks and my feet are getting healthier and happier daily! Thank you sketchers! They fit tight, so I cannot use them with my orthotic inserts, but they are so supportive and comfortable by themselves that I don’t need the inserts!! I love these shoes!

I read review after review, looked at all the photos posted by those who purchased before me. And placed my order with reservations as to what I would receive. The boots look exactly like the photos posted in the listing pretty much. I wasn't expecting a light suede like leather finish on the boots. The leather quality and thickness is much on the thin side and more of an overlay then one piece leather material. I read all of the reviews that spoke of the pull straps ripping loose but did not have any issue when trying on the boot, but did take a look at the construction around the strap and can see that it is not stitched in a strong or heavy duty manner. The fit is weird at least in my case. I ordered my regular 11 1/2 size, but the boot fit shorter than usual and much wider. Now I don't just mean wider as in the width of the sole, but also the entire area ahead of the ankle snug elastic fitted design of the boot. It was like I could tap my foot to music and the boot itself would not move due to the interior excess foot room.

Boot is what I expected from Skechers, good quality, value and comfortable. I have not had any issues with any part of the boot coming apart.

In less than a week - the back strap on one of the boots broke off. Without the strap it is very difficult to put the boot on. Though the boot is comfortable - the difficulty putting the boot on questions the remaining quality.

I’m 69 years old. I work everyday. I have arthritis in my feet and elsewhere. I also have Lupus. My ‘lace up’ work boots were becoming more and more uncomfortable putting pressure on the tops of my feet. These boot fit well. The snug, elastic sided feature gives ankle support. I’ve had them for one month and really like them.

I have several pairs of Skechers. This is the first time I’ve been let down. I put my finger in the heel strap and went to pull them on for the first time in the strap came off in my hand. I took a look and it wasn’t even sewn on looks like it was glued. Unfortunately I didn’t try them for a while after I bought them so I guess I can’t return them. Just junk!

Skechers have always been a great fit for my feet. I hope they keep making these. They discontinued some of my favorite similar styles over the years.
