Solid, Spacious, and Worth It!
I picked up the Sysracks 18U 35" deep rack for my studio and network gear, and it’s been a great investment. Functionality This rack has plenty of depth, which was key for me. It fits my blade server, NAS, Blackmagic studio gear, network equipment, ISP router, and a small UPS with no problem. I’ve got plans to add a rack-mounted UPS soon, and there’s still room to grow. The LCD screen with temperature readouts and fan control is a nice touch—really helpful for keeping tabs on airflow. I swapped the stock fans for Noctuas to get better performance, and that upgrade made a noticeable difference. Ease of Setup Setup was straightforward, and once it’s built, it’s rock solid. The included casters are a huge win—I’ve got enough slack in my cables that I can roll the rack out for maintenance without unplugging anything. That flexibility makes a big difference when you’re working in a tight space. Looks It’s clean and professional-looking. The matte black finish and simple design make it blend in nicely with my studio setup. It doesn’t scream for attention, but it looks sharp and well put together. Quality Build quality is excellent. The panels are sturdy, the rails fit perfectly, and everything locks and latches the way it should. Once assembled, it feels like it’ll last for years without issue. Storage Capacity 18U is plenty for my current setup, and the 35" depth gives me room for longer gear and clean cable management. Even with everything installed, I’ve still got space to expand and keep things organized. Value for Money This was one of the more affordable options I found, and it absolutely delivers. It’s not soundproof or dampened, but for the price, it’s more than worth it. Between the build quality, airflow, and flexibility, I couldn’t ask for more at this price point

Great server rack, but some cons
This is a great server rack and well-built, especially for the price. Pros: - Well-built and sturdy - Casters, which allow for mobility and work/roll well - Comes with fan, mountable power strip, and one mountable appliance shelf (maybe 12 inches?) - Side panels are easily removable via their latches and each have a locking mechanism (although I wouldn't rely on it) - Looks great, especially the glass clear front panel Cons: - The instructions could really use some work. It took much longer to put it together than needed, and for some items (e.g., installing locks, door latches, etc.) there were no instructions at all. Other areas the instructions were so vague I had to guess (still not sure parts are put together correctly...) - Back panel is screwed in, which if you're working with anything over around 30" in depth, makes it challenging to work on from the side. That means you will either need to leave the back panel off or unscrew it each time. Recommend making the back panel work on a latch system similar to the sides, or at the very least, use thumb screws that can be easily removed. - Front panel droops quite a bit when open. It is not a big deal, but may want to consider adding some thicker/more durable washers on the hinges. All-in-all, very happy with the purchase and recommend it!

All good now. It's a great unit.
Update2: The parts that were damaged in shipping were replaced by the manufacturer. Thanks so much for that! Now that I have undamaged panels, I can say this rackmount system is really nice. It looks great. It's very heavy duty and there's nothing wobbly. It's longer than I expected, it's a long rectangle - but that's fine. The instructions for assembling it are a little unclear, but you can find videos online. Update: The manufacturer contacted me and they will send me replacement pieces for the damaged parts, and that the damage must have happened in shipping. Once I get those parts and install them, I will update my rating - I think this will be a great cabinet once I get parts that aren't damaged. I am super disappointed in this purchase. I paid almost $500 and another &70 for shipping on top of that. The delivery box was in pretty good shape but once opened it was clear the unit that was delivered to me has been used before. It is damaged in multiple places. All of the small screws/bolts/nuts were not in bags, so they were all strewn about the inside of the box - I'm sure having all those small metal pieces rattling around inside the box through transit contributed to some of the issues with this unit. Take a look at the pictures. Both sides and the rear are badly bent so that they don't fit well. One of the mechanisms that holds one of the sides in place has been torn...It's plastic, seems like someone forced one of the sides to open without using the Open mechanism. The worst part - the top piece of this unit is badly damaged. It is ugly. I don't think I can use this unit. I'm not sure how possible it is to get a refund now, but if you're thinking about purchasing one please know that I regret this purchase.

Decent product but many details were overlooked for Quality Control.
The item is as described yet there were issues with assembly, mainly that the main frame threaded holes did not match the screws provided. I was therefore required to drag out my tap and die set and rethread the holes to match the screws. This would be quite a debacle had I not had a tool set handy. There was minor bending and twists due to shipping. The lack of assembly instructions is almost a show stopper. They really need to put some effort into quality control and attention to detail. The instructions were nearly non existent and merely displayed a general layout of the parts involved. Also there were spots that were scuffed or the paint simply missing in areas. It may be affordable... but I don't think I'd buy this again.

Large, sturdy, and well built!
This unit will house any normal server chassis without issue and is built out of very sturdy materials for the frame. The sides attach easily and the customization for rack posts is very helpful to get things just where you want them. On top of all of that, it looks nice too! The included PDU and fan are a nice touch. The only reason it's knocked down one star is because the shelf arrived dented and one of the spring latches for the side panels isn't functioning (meaning the side is leaning out a little). It doesn't affect the main functionality of the product, but it was disappointing. I contacted Sysracks through their website and will update if and when they respond. Update: they responded quickly and after checking the pictures, are sending me a new latch. Top notch service and well worth the 5 star rating!

Hours to assemble
Expected a fully assembled rack. Instead received a 100 pound box with parts and no printed instruction manual. Wrote support, and they sent me a PDF. Diagrams were virtually unreadable. Screws in boxes mislabeled. After eight hours of assembly, I reached out to help them create a new manual, but nothing has changed. Do not buy this product unless you have hours to waste.

Impressive & Awesome Network Cabinet
We love this item. It includes not only the full rack, but it comes with a fan, a PDU, a shelf, and a glass front case! This item also includes the wheels if you desire to mobilize it on the floor. It has a key lock for the cabinet and includes all of the hardware with simple instructions. If you want the complete package without having to search around for all of the additional equipment...BUY THIS FIRST! Thank you so much! This is the second one I’ve purchased. Enjoy!

Looks and works well after minor issues
TL;DR: Pros: Good customer service, solid product. Cons: Product damaged during shipment, direction could be better. I bought the 20U 35" deep cabinet for my home lab. It arrived in 3 well packaged boxes. Unfortunately, one of the boxes was damaged in shipping and a critical part was missing. I contacted support and sent them pictures and they promptly sent me a replacement part. That box was also damaged in shipment but the part was there. During assembly, I found that two of the latches on the side panels had been damaged as well. I emailed support with pictures and they sent replacement latches. Now that it is together it looks and works great. As far as strength goes, it has handled my 3000KVA UPS set up without a problem. I'm still getting servers installed and it is going well.

Great server rack.
Great quality server rack! Very pleased with this product! Even though the packages arrived quickly and in perfect condition, there was a slight bit of damage to a side panel which was easily straightened and one of the plastic slide locks was broken. I contacted the seller immediately and they responded literally within minutes and sent out a replacement clip. Fantastic service! I wish I needed more racks because I would definitely purchase another one from this seller.

Great price for full depth rack
This case was a beast to put together, but once together provides a nice 12U server case for home use (or portable use with the wheels). Overall I'd give this is good rating for anyone looking for a home server rack, and am definitely pleased with my purchase, but there were a few cons that makes it a 4, not a 5 star. The big drawback: The back is screwed in. Meaning if you need to get to back cables easily, you're out of luck. My rails block any side-access, and so getting to the back of a server's power or network cables is near impossible. A flaw if you need to actually work on anything, but not so bad if it's all meant to be left untouched. Pros: - Great Price - Solid Rack - Just does what it's supposed to do. - Comes with some nice extras (power bar, fan, etc) so you don't have to hunt down those pieces. - Fits full length servers (eg R610). I've also commented this in the cons as they're a very tight fit, but they fit! So it goes in both pro and con. Cons: - Instructions are difficult to follow - Door is not easily reversible. - Two sets of keys; one for side locks, one for front (Yeah, you don't think this is a big deal - but just wait) - Screws are on the outside, meaning if you didn't have the keys, a simple Phillips would unlock it. - The frame is not "square" until all the parts are screwed in. The back panel is what's keeping my rack level and lined up. - Shipped with missing screws; had to contact seller. (or this could be a pro... seller responded quickly and sent me extra screws - was very pleased about that). - While the inside is the advertised 35" depth, the maximum post distance is 33". Unfortunately cable and bezel room are needed so the maximum realistic post distance is 28-29". Measure your devices accordingly. This barely fit the length of an R610 due to power/network cables at the back and bezel at the front. - "Free" rack is only 21.5" deep and requires posts to be set at that depth. The rack is useless if you require deeper post distance (such as with a Dell R610), so mine is in a parts pile somewhere. Even with all these "Cons" I would highly recommend this product as I found nothing that matches the price-point for the nice simple 12U full-length rack you get. Honestly, even if they fixed some of the small things like the 2-sets of keys and maybe the free-rack being expandable, I'd have bumped this to a 5-star, but there's no 4 1/2 so that's life.

Instructions are terrible but solid rack.
Instructions are terrible once you have the first step of assembly of the bottom and top assembled just go slow. Reference the picture and take your time. Don't force anything went together correct no issues except some scratches on the shelf. Packaging could be better. Take a approach of reverse engineering in a way. I posted every page of the instructions there is no inventory page. Tells you to use M6 screws right off the go and thats the bag that’s labeled #1 I didn’t have bags labeled 1-8 2 were missing? All went together good. Door kinda needs to be lifted where it swings in but no big deal still closed tight. Make sure on the wheels on the bottom are secured with the nuts on the inside of the cabinet so the wheels have clearance to spins 360s. I found the pictures in general basically are the instructions. Just build it as it looks take you time and be organized.
