I needed this to be able to light up the yard and keep up with our dogs in the backyard at night. I like that it takes AA batteries instead of having to deal with the hassle and complications that come with rechargeable spotlights. Plus, I don't need a spotlight that charges my phone, plays music, controls the TV, binge watches Netflix, is voice activated, knows what the weather is in Spain, or whatever other pointless features that some of these spotlights on here have. It's a spotlight, it's reliable, and it isn't fussy. It has a rubber outer shell which is really nice for holding onto, even in the rain and wet. It has a spot lamp and a little less intense flashlight lamp on it, accessible by consecutive button presses. Super easy to operate, and it's nice having the options depending on whether I need light up close to make sure I don't step in "land mines" that the dogs left for me or if I need to reach the very back of the backyard to see what those clowns have gotten themselves into. I can't say if this works underwater, because that isn't how I use it, but so far it has held up fine to a wet winter. Highly recommend. A+, would purchase again.

I bought this flashlight for around the house because "someone" around here continuously takes off with my smaller flashlight after misplacing his, then misplaces mine. Great decision! It's solid & durable yet lightweight, impressively bright, & easy to locate no matter where it's placed. The batteries are going strong so I anticipate being just as pleased with the battery life. I'll probably buy another for "someone" who quickly developed a case of "flashlight envy." I haven't found any down side to this flashlight. The best part was the price, so much bang for the buck! Actually the best part is the stress reduction & time savings, as I am quickly & easily locating it on the deck rail, garage steps, on top of the refrigerator, & in various places in the yard. The flashlight envy propels this impressive buy into solid first place as my favorite great purchase. I'd be remiss if I failed to mention that in this case, batteries are included. In a world short on quality & long on "customer no service," Energizer sets the gold standard for quality, affordability, and great service!

I bought a few of these Energizer brand power flashlights for our night workers early last year, and they work very reliably in all weather. So bought another for my home standby use. Super blinding bright LED and a pre-focused reflector lens. Two brightness level modes by cycling the easy and tactile power on/off trigger. Secure screw-on back for simple insertion of the INCLUDED six Energizer brand AA alkaline batteries. Nice ergonomic and textured housing, and easy to hold. Rated pretty good overall in waterproofness standard too, but should NOT be submerged in water. I have had a few of the similar shaped generic brand rechargeable type flashlights from stores and online, but they always soon fail due to the light duty and poor quality internal rechargeable batteries they all used, or somehow got moisture inside them. Those were throw-away flashlights. In contrast, these use standard store replacement AA batteries that will last a very long time until you need to change them again. Only thing to improve would be to make entire housing a brighter color yellow or orange. That's it. But I recommended this flashlight very strongly!

This is a solid flashlight which came at a very good price! I needed a good source of light from a portable power source and this fits the bill. I like the "tilt" feature which allows you to place the light on a surface and it tilts up. It looks like it could be waterproof but have not tested this. Unlike the flashlight this replaces, it does not have loose components or work intermittantly. It is solid and dependable. I was very glad to buy this (in fact we got two). I am unhappy with the instructions on how to install the batteries. The website support was not helpful, so had to email to get information on how to access the battery compartment (twist!). Better markings on the flashlight would fix that!

I purchased this spot light for my new puppy (Mini Dachshund) so that when I take him out at night and in the early mornings I can keep an eye on him at all times. For the low price they charge for this light, the quality of the light and the overall structure of how it is built really has impressed me. The light is made almost with a rubber type material so that when you’re holding it you know it’s secure in your hand and will not easily slip or fall out of it. The button you click to turn on the light also is the perfect fit for a finger(s) and the pressure to turn it on and off is just right. When you click the button the first time; the light is extremely bright (my first picture pointing at the sky is on this setting). I use this setting obviously for distance and when I really need to see what I’m pointing at. If you click the button a second time, the light dims down a bit, however, there is still plenty of light. I use this setting when walking my dog in the street just so people can see me. I’ve had this flash light for approx two weeks now and I highly recommend it. If I absolutely had to make a complaint I would say it is a little but bulky but for what I use it for is great. I can’t speak on battery life and how long it’ll last because I’ve only had it for two weeks but I’m sure if you use the second click (dimmer light) you’d conserve more battery life than constantly running it on the brightest setting.

A spotlight with many uses. The quality of the light is nice and bright. With a click of a button, you have a bright light, click again and the light is dimmer. The spotlight requires 6 AA batteries which are included. Has a built-in lanyard loop and flat platform so it can be used as a lantern. I live in an area where there are no streetlights, this flashlight provides plenty of light so I can safely walk the dog at night. A must have flashlight to have on hand for emergencies, camping and more. I like how lightweight the flashlight is, looking out it you would think its heavy. At night, my backyard (which is two acres) is so dark, but the flashlight lights up the yard so I can see my property. My son is a new driver, and I will be picking up another flashlight for him to keep in his car. A well- made flashlight that shines bright. The flashlight has a rubber type casing, which is nice just in case you drop the flashlight it will not crack. The flashlight can even be used outside in the rain with it being water resistance.

Great handheld hardcase spotlight! Fits nicely into palm of the hand and the light is super bright! I tried shining against several houses much further down the block and its' light was bright enough to illuminate a great distance. Also, bringing garbage out to the dumpster in the darkness was made much easier. This is a great spotlight and I will definitely be using it at home, in the car and on any trips. I foresee this will come in super handy during any blackouts and major storms. On a plus side, it takes easily obtainable AA batteries. Highly recommended item. Note: a number of reviews have stated that they do not know how to open the case to insert batteries! Indeed, no instructions were given but all you need to do is to twist the back open counter-clockwise and this opens an area for batteries, easy peasy.

Wow, this is so bright! This is rechargeable via USB cable and the cord stores in the flashlight, which is super convenient and makes it lightweight because you don't have battery weight. This can also be used hands free which is convenient. I like that it is also water resistant. Literally everything I could ask for in a flashlight and it can see across my property with ease. Great dependable flashlight. I was gifted this spotlight through HomeTester Club and I am extremely happy with how easy it is to use and its durability. This would be great for anyone to have in the house for emergencies, crawlspaces, while outside in the dark, or camping.
