They were out of the bigger towels before, I bought the small and medium sized ones before, bought the bundle, so I would have the large towels, wish they sold them by themselves. The color was a little different on them, from the previous batch. I do color for a living, so other may not notice it.

These towels are thick and soft, however they are NOT absorbent. I have washed and dried these 10 times in a week since buying them During the drying process, I have to empty the lint catcher three times while drying, and still they keep giving off lots lint. The worst thing about these towels is that no matter how many times you dry the same spot, we still are left feeling damp. These were to be a replacement for our Abyss towels which are eight years old. We have had to go back to the aging Abyss towels which are far superior to the Salbakos towels. Very disappointed with this purchase! 5-10-23 Had to change rating to one star. I’ve been washing these towels twice a week, and they are still shedding a ton of lint and tiny lint balls. These tiny balls end up on everything, as they seem to stay in washer for at least the next 2-3 loads. They end up all over our clothes that are subsequently washed after the towels. Sadly the return window closed on May 2, otherwise, I would have returned them. I will be donating them to the local animal shelter as they are always in need of blankets and towels. On a side note, I really don’t understand all of the glowing reviews. These towels are not absorbent. It almost feels like they have overdosed on fabric softener. Maybe we got a bad batch? I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m very disappointed with this purchase! I also purchased the bath sheet, which is also bad.

I normally don't care for towel quality, I'm usually ok with walmart towels. That being said, I decided I wanted better. I researched and read reviews all over amazon and the internet and finally pulled the trigger on Salbakos. I was expecting something fancy and plush but from some reviews I kept my expectations in check.Out of package the towels had a chemical smell on it and felt rough, they needed their first wash.After the wash the towels were much softer and did not produce as much lint as people have mentioned. I have used some very comfortable towels in high end hotels before and I was hoping to have that quality matched, they are soft and have a nice weight to them but probably comparable to other towels.After the first wash I noticed one of the towels had 4 threads pulled, I checked the other pieces but they were ok. I used a scissor to cut them and am hoping it doesnt damagae any further.Keep your expectations in check with these towels, they are very good but nothing special.**Update**The towels have nice weight to them and they are slightly larger than average, they dry at a respectable rate. Despite my review I am enjoying these towels, came back to bump my review up one star after spending more time with them.

These towels are more absorbent than the ones I have from Lands End. Also, I recently switched from using fabric softener to distilled white vinegar in the final rinse. I have discovered that the dsw makes them much more absorbent, just as soft, less statistic, and whiter when using bleach. Bleach has the tendency of turning whites yellowish over time, but the dsw seems to prevent that from happening. Vinegar also clears away softener buildup. It takes two or three washes to accomplish this, but once the fabric softener has been cleansed away, the absorbancy of the towels becomes astoundingly noticeable even on older towels.

These are my review Criteria when I buy something: 1. Was it as advertised: yes it is exactly as I was led to believe from the description. Even the color is very close tot he picture. 2. Value for price: These are not what I would consider cheap towels, they are priced right for what they are. A very soft thick towel. 3. Quality: I believe this product will hold up, I won't know for a few washes but the stitching and weaving seem of high quality 4. How was the Process: As with most Amazon purchases it was flawless, arrived on time and in good condition. 5. Would you purchase again and or Recommend to someone else?: The answer is absolutely to both.

I had previously purchased some very thick towels from one of the "box" stores, but the "box" stores just didn't have the colors I wanted. So I ordered these. They are not the highest quality, but they aren't cheapies either. Let's just say..... Better than Wal-Mart towels. I ordered the coral, green, stone, and purple. Colors shown were true to what I got. The "way better" towels that these new towels are replacing will go to Goodwill, too bad, but I didn't like the colors, these were more the colors I wanted.

This towel set is for grown ups. I love them...They are thick,soft and absorbent. All pieces,washcloth,hand towel and bath towels are all bigger than most. I did the 'pre-treat ' with the hot,vinegar dry four step and they do not shed lint as so many new towels that can and do clog the dryer vent. * It happened to me and cost $195 to have it cleaned out*I've been using these for 6 months and always put them out for guests who comment on how much they like them. They dry so quickly which honestly surprised me. These will make a wonderful wedding gift especially for those who have been on their own or a second marriage. Rarely do we treat ourselves.I say these are for adults because of the size and youngsters wouldn't appreciate the luxury like an adult. I guess that is an age-est remark I apologize if it offends anyone.

Don't waste your money! I could tell before I even took them out of the package that they were garbage. It cost me $40 to send them back and that was not refunded as promised. These towels and the company are garbage!

Towels are good size & wash up nicely.
