155mm x 235mm Borosilicate Glass Plate/Bed for Creator Pro Dreamer 3D Printer

Used it for no more than 10 prints and it has already gotten chipped right in the middle, just from me taking a print off the plate under normal conditions, while cool. A glass bed is a solid investment no matter what you're printing (except maybe PETG) but this one is not up to the task.

UPDATE: After contacting GO-3D Print, it turns out that the filament I was using to make my ABS Juice (Hatchbox) may have been damaging the glass plates. This is supported by the fact that ABS Juice made with the other brand of filament I'm using will not stick to the glass at all. I have started using Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Glue on the glass plate for printing ABS instead. It creates a hard layer on top of the glass that ABS prints stick to at temperature, and easily come off when cooled with no glue on the part. The glue can easily be removed from the glass with rubbing alcohol and water.UPDATE: Second glass plate I had ordered originally as a backup has done the same thing after less build time than the first (It was a week ago). This means to me the first one was not a fluke. I have one more plate I ordered to replace the first one that broke, but I'll be searching for another source of glass. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!(Original) When printing abs prints directly on the glass with "abs juice", the prints stick well and pop off after the parts cool. This glass plate lasted LESS THAN TWO MONTHS before a chunk of glass came with some support I took off by hand (no tools involved). I've never seen this happen before with any of my other glass plates. Even on my old replicator when I used Kapton tape and abs juice and had to use tools to remove the part. Very disappointing because it was working beautifully otherwise.

I have an older FlashForge Creator Pro. I had replaced the original build plate with a magnetic build plate, but it used the original stickers and those didn't last very long. I picked up this glass plate to try it and other than the clips I used to hold it on it worked well. It is a very smooth surface so the bottom of the print is very smooth. Prints stick to it until it cools when they release easily. Be sure to use hair spray. The clips get in the way when printing. There are different clips that you can print that may work better. I ended up attaching it to my magnetic plate so the magnets now hold it in place and it is removable. Now it is great. I get good consistent print quality.

This is a great upgrade for the FlashForge Creator Pro 3D printer. The OEM print surface was OK but it doesn't release the prints very well. I removed the surface sticker and cleaned off the sticker residue. Initially, I used binder clips to keep the glass bed in place but the extruder head would it them on larger parts. I used some 20mm wide thermal tape and problem solved! If you let the part and the glass cool to room temperature, the parts separate very easily due to differential thermal contraction. Make sure you use a little bit of Aqua Net Extra Super Hold hairspray to help adhesion prior to printing.IMPORTANT: You will need to place ~3mm thick shim on the print bed under the Z-axis limit switch since the glass adds thickness. You can find designs on Thingiverse but it seemed like the 3mm designs were questionable. Great Quality.....very nice cut piece of glass....the edges were polished or rounded for safety.Happy how it turned out!!!!!!

At first after I installed the glass, we had all kind of issues. while I was sleeping he got up and took it all apart, when I got up he had it working 100%. The glass has to perfectly level and in full contact with the plate that heat the base plate. With a Dreamer, you have to make sure you get the printer base and header will printer the alignment pattern. He cut the alignment pattern so we can align each corner or the center without wasting all the extra material. Getting the alignment down is the key getting perfect prints every time.

This thing is great for the Flashforge Creator Pro. I've used it with dozens of prints in both PLA and ABS with exactly two failed prints total, and cleaned it with soap and water three times so far. I placed silicon pads on the bottom to assist with heat transfer to the glass and to reduce the chance of the glass shifting during printing; in this manner I avoid the need for clips (lateral shifting is nearly impossible, but the plate can be lifted on and off easily as needed). I use Aquanet hairspray to make sure I get a good first layer. This thing, and the FFCP in general, has been a 3D printing dream.

If you, like me, never printed on a glass bed, check this out!This is a great upgrade for the Creator Pro. Given that it's just 3mm, I was able to level it without any Z-shim and even with stock springs. I only needed to print some corner brackets to hold it in place.To achieve good adhesion with ABS I cover it with thin ABS juice. It works great, even without any brim or raft. At first I tried a glue stick, but it didn't hold the print at all, worse than just printing on a bare glass.

Perfect fit for my Flashforge Creator Pro , added a little hairspray and the adhesion was awesome . Let cool and lift the printed item of the glass with no resistance. Remember to remove everything from the bed ( existing material) before glass is placed . I use blue painters tape to hold my glass flawlessly 👍

This is exactly what you need for your FlasForge Creator Pro! Works great for ABS and NinjaFlex TPU. A little hairspray and print away.
