if I were to use this finishing wax, would I be able to stain it in the future if I change my mind?

Typically no. The stain will block the pores in the wood limiting the absorption of stain. Depending upon how the wax was absorbed by the wood you will get come stain absorption but it may or may not be uniform. Stain first then finish. Typically if you stain you way want are harder finish that gives it a better seal.

Is this product made with coconut or palm products?

It says right in the description, made from beeswax and tree oils

Can this be used over stain?

You can use paste wax over a stain. However, if you are going to go through the labor of staining you may want to use a more permanent finish like a water-based polyurethane. Paste wax finishes need to be re-waxed every 3-5 years in general.

Great wax

Used this to wax my unfinished kiwi 3 spinning wheel before I assembled it. Great wax, went on smoothly and then polished up nicely up on second run down of wooden pieces. I have purchased a second jar to have on hand. Not really a smell the protection it offers seems top rate, and it soaked in and dried quickly.

Works good, beautiful finish

Does its job

A small container goes a long way. Used this to finish my wife's spinning wheel while I put it together, and was probably going kind of heavy on it. Still had enough left to finish one or two more of the machines.
