BEAUTIFUL!
St. Anthony of Padua has been my friend, protector and mentor since early childhood. He is much, much more than a "saint who finds lost objetcs" (read about him.) In my 20s, my beloved Aunt Di gave me a beautiful porcelain statue of him, saying that he and I had a special bond. A couple of years ago, it fell off my bedstand table and broke, breaking my heart with it. In April 2012, I was in Lisbon Portugal and in the house he was born (turned into a lovely shrine church now). I bought another statue there, but was not really satisfied. In September of this year, I was in Padua at the Basilica of St. Anthony (it is absolutely breathtaking) but I did not make a purchase because, again, I didn't see anything that came close to what Aunt Di gave me. THIS IS PERFECT. It's smaller than the one she gave me but absolutely exquisite. I will take the statue I bought in Lisbon and leave it at my daughter's grave. This one I shall treasure and, trust me, I won't put it anywhere it can be broken.

Beautiful and St. Anthony likes it
I work with St. Anthony a lot and this was to find a cat that was lost. My client had given her and her babies to a supposed rescue because she was having hand surgery the day after Christmas. She got clawed badly getting her to go with this person and ended up needing antibiotics. This person promptly lost the car before Christmas and did nothing to really find her. My client paid me to do work and St. Anthony is the finder of lost things. The cat was trapped by my friend/client the next day after this work.Beautiful little statue! 😍
