Review: Long-lasting, great-performing yeast - This stuff is magic... It works brilliantly in my Panasonic machine - it's so active that I've actually had to reduce the amount of sugar that I add. The most amazing thing is that I've now been using the same bag for over a year. I keep it in the fridge, just tightly rolling down the top and securing it with a little bulldog clip. I'd expected it to die well before now, but the rise is just as good as the first bake. I've never experienced that with Allinson's or any of the other brands available in supermarkets.

**Q: Can this be used in the same way as allinsons fast acting dried yeast, or does it need to be soaked etc first? thanks.**
A: It works both ways . You can add it to the flour directly or dissolve it in the water you are going to add to the flour . But you don’t need to wait as you have to do with the Allinsons

**Q: Is this Gluten Free? Is it manufactured in a factory that handles gluten?**
A: Not sure.

**Q: is this one suitable for sweet dough, ie., sugar tolerant?**
A: As far as I know for sweets things ( cakes , scones, muffins ) you have to use baking powder .

**Q: Hi, what is the expired date? thanks**
A: I keep the pack in the freezer and take out a small amount for use. That way it keeps indefinitely.
