Does this device measure frequency?

Can this read 7.7 kw of power? I see the rated power is for 2.2kw but they mention the load can be over rated power.

Yes, but you might need to use an external current sensor. I think the 2.2 kW are in reference to the integrated shunt resistors. They have a limitation in terms of how much current they can take. The meter itself can read 7.7 kW just fine. We have been using it with 10 kW and more in our use case.

Where and how can I get the software to use it with a PC?

The easiest way use the pzem is by connecting it to a esp32/esp8266 or Arduino type board. You can then use the Arduino IDE software or Home Assistant/esphome to program and access the data being sent by the Pzem module

I have the ct placed on a single phase using around 8-10 amps, but the device is reading 80+ amps; anyone else have this problem? how to fix?
