Evangelism Handbook: Biblical, Spiritual, Intentional, Missional

This is a great book. I had to read it for a seminary class about personal evangelism and I found it was one of those books that was enjoyable and packed full of information. Every Christian should read this book. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to the quality of the book binding not the content. Pages were falling out of the book before half of the semester was over. I will always keep the book on my bookcase for reference when studying and reviewing about evangelism, but it is now held together with clear shipping tape, and I mean a lot of clear shipping tape not just one or two pages but maybe 1/3 of the pages of the book.

This book is very interesting and well recommended for anyone who wants to know the meaning of Evangelism in the Christian faith. It is a book that, if you take the time to read and study it, can certainly give pointers on certain questions such as:What is Evangelism?Why we do Evangelize?How do we Evangelize?There is more to say, but you will have to find out as you are reading the book.

I do not think I would have ever read this book if it were not required. But that is exactly what it should be... Required. It's message too true, it's content too important, it's presentation too loving and sincere, not to be required of every follower of Jesus to read and read again. Thank you Dr. Reid for all the work and prayer and obedience that made this book possible.

A very comprehensive book on the theology and methodology of evangelism. It is throughly Biblical and yet practical. I could see it used as a seminary text but also as a small group study in a church.

I feel like I was always a time buying that because our teacher doesn’t have is using this book

This book is great. Real clear. Real simple. This book digs out the heart of evangelism, and says this is the core. This book like most popular reads has some filler in it, some sections, or some stories, that you wonder if it could have been left out. However, despite that minor, minor technical flaw this book is wonderful and every Christian should try and read it. Let's go fishing!

Easy to read and understand, sparks ideas in the reader, uses descriptive metaphor in places but does not do so ad nauseum. Amidst all the examples, there is a clear intention to the writing that never gets lost in the craft of writing. The author clearly has a purpose for what he's saying, is informed about his topic, and clearly communicates his passion for evangelism.

Got this to give to a guy I'm mentoring in Evangelism. This is a great book if you really want to know the ins and outs of sharing your faith in Christ.

Best book I've ever read on the subject and very thorough.
