Quality is decent for price. Fit well, lights worked out of box, switch for trunk worked as well.

Tried getting an OEM one a few years ago and it died shortly after the warranty let out, wasn't going that route again. Found this and it was pretty straight forward for the install. only problems I had were the wires are thicker than the OEMs and dont fit in the holders (little tape fixed that), and it doesn't come with new screws for the housing (got pack of them from lowes). Its worked great so far and time will tell as to how long it lasts.

Perfect fit. The OEM switch is epoxied in. It’s tough to remove. The whole job start to finish took me an hour. It required a Phillips screwdriver, a 14mm socket, a tool to remove plastic rivets, and a dremel to grind the old switch out of the epoxy. The new switch clicked in securely without epoxy.

My latch release on my 2012 Cruze LT hasn't been working for almost 3 years and never thought to look on Amazon for the product. I was looking at local automotive stores and they were all $60+ so figure I'll just use my fob to open the trunk. Well, this product works perfectly and as the headline states, I love the easy button press with a nice tactile click. There are only 2 things that gave me problems. The right license plate light housing didn't want to fit properly into the hole, I just ended up screwing it down tight and it sucked it flush against the chrome piece. The other thing was the wires and wire wrapping were a little too big to fit in the factory little slots that hold the cables out of the way. I just put the cables on top side of the screw hole and made sure that none of the cables were being pinched when I screwed the chrome piece back down. All in all, easy install, everything worked properly, and now I have a working release button.

My 2014 Cruze has the switch epoxied into the trim piece, not removable..it took me two months to find the time and friend to do the fix.. nonreturnable now.. anybody want this harness?

Perfect fit for 2013 Chevy Cruze LT wires were a bit thicker than original so the wire holders were not used but the cables zip tied instead to the holder. Plug connector fit as well and no need for any modification.

Just a fraction of the price of the part thru Chevrolet! The first replacement part lasted 3 years, hoping this part will work that long! Could not get this part from any dealer like Napa auto parts or carquest,, and very expensive at Chevrolet.
