Q: 34" waist here. For classic boxers w longish inseams and loose legs: M was always good. Amazon say "L" for me. Any advice?

I'm a 32" and a large is a very good fit for me.

Q: Button fly or open fly?

There is one button. However I have found that the fly is too high and l have to pull the shorts down a bit to align the opening with my penis!
