Don't waste your time. They do smell musty/moldy as described by someone else. Secondly, they aren't flannel, unless there us a new thin see through fabric flannel that I'm not aware of.

I bought these because I thought it was good deal. When they arrived everything was fine until I opened the package wrap. There was a foul odor, like mildew, very strong coming from both robes. I thought it may have been the wrapping and all I needed to do was throw them in the washer to get rid of the smell. I put them on the delicate cycle and tumbled them dry on low heat. The smell was gone but I took them out of the dryer and noticed they were falling apart; threads were come out everywhere and fabric has faded. I guess you get what you pay for. Take my advice, DO NOT BY THESE ROBES!!!! I there was a 1/2 star vote, that would be mine.

The quality of the robes was fine, except they arrived with a strong mold/mildew odor.I washed them 3 times. Even after adding vinegar the second time and a little bleach the third time, there is still a slight odor. These must have been stored in a damp, moldy place. Would not recommend or purchase again.

I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the second robe was not as pictured. It has a white background the a navy or charcoal stripe and a bright green one in the plaid. My grandson kept it anyway, but it definitely was not what we thought we ordered. Nice weight and quality. He’s happy they have hoods. I’d recommend if you really care about the colors. I thought it was a great price for two robes👍🏻

Yeah, there was a smell. Though it is not permanent as other have said. One wash with hot water and Tide and the robes smelled perfectly fresh like laundry. Also, the material is brand new. After a few washes, it feels like soft flannel. I got black and grey and black and dark green with red. I'm 6' tall, goes to below my knees.

These were a Christmas gift for my son who is 14. He said the robes are comfortable and he has not gotten out of the bluish/ green one since Christmas. He says it’s warm and he loves the hood. My only problem is the red robe was missing the tie/ belt and that’s the one he loved the most but will not wear or let me return for fear he will not get another one.

There was a whole in one of the sleeves. Also they're pretty thin, but otherwise they do their job.

This is what I’d been looking for for more than a year. I didn’t want a heavy bathrobe, just a light flannel housecoat with a hood to take the chill off on cool mornings. I don’t need 2 of them though and would have paid the price for just one.
