Anabolics E-Book Edition - Kindle edition by Llewellyn, William. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Anabolics E-Book Edition. Review: The only book on AAS I could find worth reading. - If you want to learn about anabolic/androgenic steroids, you've probably noticed that all the information available on the internet, and in most books, is written by idiots. This book is somewhat better. The e-book version which I purchased is a great value, and contains information on all aspects of AAS use, including risk mitigation when using illegally produced products, profiles of every PED you could possibly imagine, and many veterinary drugs you've probably never heard of, injection protocol -etc. It gives a great summary of what AAS do, how they effect your endocrine system, and detailed, honest discussion of health risks. A review of the table of contents will give a good picture of what this book is about. The sections on drug profiles are a little repetitive. The section instructing how to spot counterfeit drugs is fascinating and probably useful to some people. I was curious about using AAS at some point in my future, and after reading and re-reading this book I can say I'm not sure if I want to anymore. However, I can say I am better informed about the risks and best practices than most people without direct experience, and many with. Suggestions - make table of contents more granular, make a more complete argument for arachidonic acid supplementation, and hire a graphic designer to make a new cover. Review: The Definitive Guide. - In my opinion this is THE definitive reference guide for anabolic steroids, without exception. Nowhere else will you find a more comprehensive, referenced, and objective examination of the clinical and performance-enhancing implications of all known and available AAS compounds. While I will concede the author has a slight positive bias towards AAS, at no point do I feel he is proselytizing his views or understating the risks of steroid use. My ONLY complaint with the ebook version is that it is not very well indexed and can be difficult to search. Future editions should include a TOC with direct links to each specific compound, since Kindle searches an be cumbersome due to the book's exhaustive length.

The best series to read on the truth!
I've been reading this series of books since the first edition. Every time a new edition is released, I pick it up. Very informative, well written, unbiased information that if you ever wanted to know what the deal was with "performance-enhancing drugs". Lots of scientific knowledge, yet worded for anyone to understand (my wife even found it easy to follow). Get the truth, with an open mind conclusions can be made without demonizing, and even after reading at least you'll know why many athletes rely (sometimes heavily) on these products and why kids should stay clear.

I have a much better understanding of how testosterone (and all AAS) work
I'm Abigail's Dad. Because AAS are illegal in the US, there is no way to find out information about them and how they may improve life. I'm overweight with low Testosterone. I've been working out (Strong Lifts 5x5 and the Big Six) for 20 months. I've built muscle and strength while losing inches and fat. I wanted to know what else I could do. I'm not gonna compete. I'm not gonna jeopardize my health. I just want to keep losing fat and inches and get stronger. After reading the book, I have a much better understanding of how testosterone (and all AAS) work. I know the dangers to health. I've learned that some supplements may improve my lipids. The book is well written and researched. On the kindle, it wasn't as easy to read as a book, but that is me learning technology. I'm glad I read it. I recommend it to anyone thinking about "cheating" (its not cheating). Have a great day.

A must have for AAS users, enthusiasts and medical professionals
E-books have certainly revolutionized the way that we are able to look back to reference or cite the stances that we believe to be true, as well as those that we need clarification on. With that in mind, this is the perfect medium for William Llewellyn's ANABOLICS book series to have transitioned on to. For a price 1/5th of the print edition, there is no longer any reason for any chemically enhanced athlete to not invest in this wealth of knowledge. Equipping oneself with accurate information is the only way to stay safe and maximize results when delving into the world of performance enhancing drugs, and there is no more complete or accurate of a reference guide than ANABOLICS.

Beyond Informative!
This book has it all! From the kinds to the process of each drug to the ways that they are counterfeited. Even letting the reader know what are the safer ways to take it from advanced consumers to novices. I am a natural bodybuilder and this book was just something to enlightened more into the sport. I have nothing against the athletes that use performance enhancement products all because of this book. It really shows that not everyone is in danger from using these. I love it, I love it!!!

Great read!
A very well put together reference on anabolics. Very easy read if this is something that interests you. Bro science has it's place, but if you are looking for something more tied together with more fact and less opinion, this is the book! I loved the section of the book that talked about steroids, the anti doping agency, and the law, in debunking some of the hysteria.

Good info, but kind of misleading
It has good content and information, however, it's VERY clear that William Llewellyn is on favor of anabolic steroids use, and the whole book has a hidden it's-safe-to-use-them message, of course with the (I assume) necessary legal disclaimers that "he doesn't recommned in any way". It's a controversial subject itself, but if you're looking for impartial information about anabolic steroids use, this isn't the book you want to read.
