PNY L8000 PowerPack - Universal Portable Rechargeable Battery Charger

I looked through numerous battery packs before deciding on this one. I plan to use it when I am outon day trips. I use my phone for photos, navigation and point of interest/place to eat research. My criteria for the battery pack:Must have: 1 full charge, slim package (thinkness of iPhone 5, HxW between iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 plus)Nice to have: 2 full charges, stylish (looks like leather)I decided on the PNY-L8000 for the slim size and thinking that it might provide 2 full charges on my iPhone 6 Plus (2900mAh battery) and it has a nice leather-like package. I did some testing with several iPhone models. It did provided 2 full charges on an iPhone 6 plus and 1 hr to reached 50% charged. The conversion rate is about 70%, this seems to be on par with other battery pack. Wow, I hadn't really used this but on a recent trip it was wonderful. My travel adaptor turned out to be so s-l-o-w that after a day or two all my electronics were running less than 50% power (camera, iPhone, iPod, tablet). The only thing the travel adaptor charged quickly and efficiently was this power pack. I wound up plugging this into the travel adaptor and my devices into this and from that point out everything was fully charged at the start of the day.This is small enough it can be tucked into hand luggage or purse and useful during long flights or long days touring as well. Can't tell you how many phones I charged over our last trip when someone forgot to charge their phone overnight.

Awesome product. I got it during a deal on Amazon. It re-charges our Nexus 4/5 phones about 2 times each before needing re-charging. It does seem to take forever (5-6 hours on USB) to re-charge, but its 8000 mah, so it's expected. It allows you to re-charge two devices at once, but note that one port is 2.1 amps and the other is 1 amp and will be slower charging.The power pack does make a hum when it's charging a device. This could be a sign of trouble, but so far it works flawlessly, looks good and is easy to carry. Would recommend this if you fly on a regular basis. This will save you from needing to look for an outlet at every airport to re-charge.

Great to use to recharge your IPhone when power is out. Charges IPhone several times. For the great price I got three of them and just periodically check them to make sure they are holding their charge so they are ready in an emergency. We've had some severe weather recently and they really came in handy. Easy to use and lights on top indicate level of charge.

Holds a charge up to 6 months sitting in drawer. Ready to go. Takes a longer bit of time to get fully charged. But charges my samsung note 2 x.

Their other larger model you could charge, put it in your bag for a month and it would lose only a few % points. This is dead within a week of sitting.

This thing is really great in a pinch. I may have missed it in the instructions, but it seems to lose charge over time. I charged it fully in November. It sat in my purse unused until January and only charged my phone to 95%. I believe it's supposed to have four full charges on it.

I liked it... for the time it worked.The design didn't bother me and the weight/size was doable. Great per the description BUT after just a few uses, the plug broke (the metal that connects inside the port came off while trying to charge my phone) and I'm sure it messed my phone up because my phone won't charge all the time.

It's a great, compact power bank. It gives me 2 full charges.
