So my original hammock (that i brought from a trip to Colombia 8 years ago) was finally showing a little tear (I leave hanging year round in Miami sun/rain, so a little abusive) and I’ve been searching for almost 4 years for a replacement. I’ve easily returned or thrown away 6+ other hammocks. This was my last attempt before hopping on a plane back to Colombia for a new one… well THIS IS IT!!!! I know it’s not cheap, but nothing about it is cheaply made! Perfect thickness, it’s HUGE (i climb in w a teen, husband, and Obv alone, and we’re a giant family. Like 5’9” to 6’4” each, no one is tiny here) and so perfect in every way! Thank you thank you thank you for selling the real deal!!

I don't have anything to really compare this to as it's the first hammock I've ever bought, but I can give you a perspective as a mom with two littles, after owning this for about a month.My primary concern was finding a hammock that wouldn't tip easily (anyone else remember being a kid, hanging on for dear life, upsidedown, on a rope hammock?), was big enough for my family of 4 to fit, cute and durable. I bought the MallowMe XL Straps and wrapped it around our towering oak trees. It makes putting it up and taking it down so easy. It's still my new baby so I take it down when rain is in the forecast... Except for tonight. We forgot and it was already thunderstorming by the time we remembered..ce la vie!My 1 and 3 year old can climb in and out of it pretty easily and they love it. They move and squirm around in there and they have never come close to spilling out. My 1 year old even took a 90 minute nap in it the other weekend.Who could blame him! The fact that they are so entertained with it makes it worth the cost. And this hammock is huge! It easily fits our family and if the kids are in there solo, it drapes over them creating a cocoon that they just love. When we/parents join in, they get so excited and shout "hammock tiiimeeee." I know they won't always want to be snuggled up with mom and dad, but I'll always be able to cherish "hammock time" memories with them.I have no doubt this will last a long time. Everything is about it feels like quality. It was the perfect addition to our backyard and let's us enjoy the outdoors in a new way.

I have been a full time hammock sleeper for over ten years, this is the most comfortable hammock I've ever used. Large enough to sleep 2 adults, luxurious for 1 big guy. Keep it out of the rain and away from rough sticks and it will last for many years.The woven organic cotton material looks great, smells pleasant, and feels wonderful even on bare skin. Synthetic hammocks are too slippery and don't breathe well compared to this fantastic pure cotton hammock.I have this hammock hanging in my bedroom with chain attached to bolts anchored in studs, I use thick carabineers to clip the hammock to the chain. Every morning I unclip one end and bunch the hammock with my blankets in it into a basket I keep at the other end of the hammock. Sometimes I'll pull it back out for a little siesta during the day. Sometimes I'll have company in the hammock.The rope ends of the hammock are the complicated type that distribute the weight across the whole edge of the hammock, rather than the gathered end style. This is an important detail and let's the hammock expand to it's full size. The ropes are made of many strong cotton threads, I deducted one star for durability as these ropes seem susceptible to damage. Perhaps that is unfair as so far there has been no damage and they are made very well.

Really well made and comfortable. I sleep in it everyday.

I've been sleeping in this hammock in my bedroom every night for the last four months. It is AMAZING for this. Really great material, great hang, needs 13 feet of space, and my walls are 13 feet apart, so it's perfect. I have it mounted using climbing hooks. I LOVE IT and I'm going to buy a second one because it's so great. I haven't even had to wash it yet because it's breathable organic cotton. There isn't really a calf ridge line with it, as long as you hang it properly. I used the popular hammock hang calculator searchable on the web.I recommend not using heavy blankets or pillows in a hammock - I recommend getting a twin sized down comforter to use in it, which is warm, cozy, and light weight. Also, a down pillow or memory foam pillow you can remove material from is good - you don't need or want a full sized pillow in a hammock. The Flora distributes weight very, very well. Perfect! Can't recommend this hammock enough for full-timers. I'll probably also buy the smaller Carolina to see how I like it (and as a backup), but the Flora is super majestic at its size. I plan to sleep in it for years to come.

I am a daily hammock sleeper. Replaced my bed with a Brazilian hammock a year ago and have been loving it. I have always wanted a la siesta so I finally bought one. Let me tell you... THIS HAMMOCK IS AMAZING! The organic cotton feels amazing, it's soft yet the weave is tight and sturdy. I'm 6'2 and 250 lbs and this thing is HUGE. I threw my under quilt on it and took a nap as soon as I got it. Fell asleep before I even knew it. Meant to take a hour nap... Woke up hours later. Been 2 nights so far and it's the best damn sleep I've had in years. You will NOT regret this purchase. If your buying for a sleeper I'd deff suggest this one for the taller folks out there. Just remember to lay diagonally across the long axis for a flat lay!

I'm 5ft 5in and weigh 130lb. I have been sleeping full time in a hammock for the last 4 years. My first hammock was the Vivere double that came with a stand.I have since put away the stand and use bolts in the wall studs to hang.This La Siesta Hammock feels softer to my skin. It's weave pattern gives a pleasant texture to the touch. I am much more able to spread out and have more balance support with its larger size. It makes me think that, with hammocks, larger may be better.I can only review by comparison, and I feel the Last Siesta Hammock is more than worth the price compared to the Vivere.

Die Hängematte ist ein Traum. Sie hat eine super Qualität. Wir hatten schon zwei günstige Hängematten bei uns im Wohnzimmer und haben uns nun eine Familienhängematte von La Siesta gegönnt. Die Hängematte hält das Gewicht von zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder locker aus und ist auch zu viert sehr bequem. In dieser Hängematte toben die Kinder und wir alle lieben es darin zu kuscheln. Dies war wahrscheinlich die beste Investition, die wir im Lockdown getätigt haben. Ich würde die Hängematte jederzeit wieder bestellen und kann sie sehr empfehlen.

Nach über 12 Jahren und regelmäßiger Benutzung musste unsere alte "La Siesta" Hängematte erneuert werden. Da wir mit "La Siesta" gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatten, wurde ein ähnliches Modell wieder neu bestellt. Die Verarbeitung ist noch genauso gut wie unsere alte Hängematte. Das Material super angenehm und ohne Chemie wie bei Billigprodukten. Bei dieser Größe kann man bequem zu zweit darin liegen, trägt 200 kg. Die Hängematte ist zwar nicht gerade billig, ist aber top Qualität die lange hält. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Eine Hängematte, in der auch zwei Erwachsene problemlos Platz finden können.Je nach Bedarf bleibt auch bei etwas Wind oder stärkerer Sonneneinstrahlung genug Hängematte übrig, um die Seiten "schützend" über sich zusammen zu schlagen.Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, der Stoff im positiven Sinne schwer und fest.Ich kann dieses Produkt guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
