What increments and how much does it dispense at once? Is it in cups? If so does it actually dispense the correct amount in cups?

It dispenses in grams, but each type of cat/dog food comes in different physical sizes. I measured out @ 1/4 cup of cat food and that is equal to 3 dogness portions.

The qr code came up as an error and searching dogness or dogness group doesn't show any results. where is the app on the play store?

As of 02/21/19 the Dogness app is back on the Google play store for Android download. I was able to successfully download it fine on my Android phone. It seems like the app was updated and temporarily not available on the Google play store for a few days. Go back and check the Google play store again.
