I bought these speakers during covid lock down period with great difficulty at 17000. After 4 years of usage I must admit these speakers are best among the best. Sound quality is brilliant. Looks are superb. I have brown colour set. Remote though tiny still works flawlessly. Bass is very good. A little bit of more treble would have made this a perfect sound machine. But still no complaints. One can enjoy both old hindi movies and english pop on these. Connect using bluetooth from ur mobile phone and enjoy. Near perfect machine for music lovers. The only but is they are made in prc.

Pros:Good as Monitoring Speakers.Sound is a bit warm due to slightly greater lower frequency range.Tweeter is great.Dedicated remote.Optical input is good for lossless audio.Cons:Bluetooth is not aptx. Should have been aptx.(only SBC)No extra Subwoofer output option.Conclusion:I would say best budget monitor in this range and better than other options out there.

First of all I must say that for those people who love quality music like Indian classical, Western classical, Gazal, or old Hindi songs or good old retro, these are the best speakers for mid sized room.I am using it for my LP record turn table and a CD player and sound is the best I have ever heard from my music collection so far.But Firstly note that these are studio moniters meaning the frequency response is flat.This implies that you will listen to the music exactly as-is.There is no sound coloration or extra effects added. So good recordings will sound excelent like you herd never before, but bad music will sound very bad.These speakers don't add extra heavy base needed for a DJ party, does not make high frequencies more brighter or sharper. They will play the music exactly as was engineered and recorded.So some people may not like it because they like artificial sound effects.For someone who really loves and appreciates purity of music, I will absolutely recommend these speakers.If you have a long 12 by 7 FT room or a mid size square room, these are best.Base is just accurate, not too heavy but still with a punch. mid frequencies are super clear and highs are perfectly high without being harsh.Sound of vocals sounds like live performance, Sitar, Santoor, Tabla and guitar sound very very real and pure.Some may find this at the mid range of budget or some may find this costly, but these speakers are worth the money.The only reason I rate it 4* is because the remote is rubbish and looks very very cheep.I am surprised about this because even the back panel buttons on the speaker are of very high quality.I feel the remote has to be improved else edifier is going to get a very bad reputation for this.There are 2 RCA line-in ports at the back and remote is the best way to switch between two.YOu can do it with the back panel right side button but it is some effort, so the remote is somewhat important. The quality of the remote must improve.Lastly, the packaging was not at all impressive in comparison to the look and build quality of the speakers.I got the box which was tampered and the speaker connecting cable as well as the speaker grills were missing.D V technologies in Mumbai were extremely helpful and promptly shipped the missing items.But I am totally disappointed with such sloppy packaging and delivery by Amazon.Conclusion:Go for these speakers by all means if you love beautiful music, you will want to hear more and more.

HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. Well, I was more of an earphone person. Started from Sony and Senheizer(basic models) earphones, I purchased Bose sport and then Audio Technica Ath e50. Coming back to EDIFIER R2000DB, I started reading reviews in various forums and considering my budget, I tried my luck, and ordered online; without actually hearing them, in person. But I am satisfied with these speakers. They are pleasing to ears in loud volumes too; clear sound. It lacks sound stage than of my Ath E-50s. It's been more than a month, I have been listening to them for 5,6 hours daily. It delivers pleasing music in any genre. The Bass and Treble adjusts really do make differences too.

i am crazy about speakers.i have owned a lot of speakers till date.a reviewer wrote about these being better than bose companion.i have previously owned bose companion 20 and can vouch that they dont hold a candle to edifier r2000.no comparison.i have swan m50 w which have very good reviews on internet but which i personally dont like at all.then bose soundlink 3 which are very loud and clear for such relatively small speakers. marshall woburn which are very loud and have incredible sound and bass but are also quite expensive.jbl party box which as the name suggest is a party speaker with a different sound signature, a real club sound speaker.anyway to cut a long story short the moral is that i have some experience with speakers and these speakers stand apart for their amazing sound.very clear and well balanced sound.bass is also quite nice without being dominating and they can get quite loud.low,mids and high everything is perfect.vocals are very clear and you can hear every instrument being played,also very nice stereo separation.of course they are computer bookshelf speakers so dont expect them to shake the walls.but they are perfect for the purpose they are meant for.so dont hesitate,go ahead and buy these amazing speakers.you wont regret it.

These speakers are very good and provide a nice sound separation . I am not an audiophile but these are quite good for the price and the only downside is the wireless remote which feels like of cheap quality and might break in future , hope they update it otherwise very good product. By listening qawali and good mastered songs on these you could easily tell where each instrument is playing and is mind blowing

I have heard of this Chinese brand Edifier and its products for the last 10 years. However never got a chance to try them. I have now setup a home theater with projector. This is made of solid wood and sounds great. Remote is small and silly to use.
