If you are on the fence about buying this item, do it! You will be happy you did! I saw this item pop up on my Pinterest feed and when we decided to have a tea party-themed second birthday party for my daughter, I wanted to give them a try. I did a quick google video search to see how to use the piping tips and then gave it a go. The first few flowers came out blobbish (think of the Pokémon bulbasaur 😂) but after the icing started flowing, the flowers became more defined. I would recommend covering the cake with a thin layer of icing as a palate so the flowers have something to “grab” on to. I also really liked the look of using various colors in a single piping bag. I bet with time, practice and a little research you can create real life flower replicas! I made faux Swiss meringue frosting for this and it piped very smoothly. You definitely want to use an icing that is smooth and easily flows, but can withstand the heat from your hand. I used Wilton disposable piping bags but the kit comes with some.

These are so much fun to first experiment with and then use. There's a lot of "oohing and aahing" when people see these cupcakes and cakes. They are easy to learn to use and the results are something really special. I like them.

Tips are good, however the tri-tip is hard to use and the disposable bags are cheaply made, I tried 3 of them and my icing came out everywhere but the tip, the bags began to split the minute I started to squeeze. Will not use the tri-coupler again.

Heavy duty, great condition. Bag smells, well like what it's made of, no biggy. Everything was counted for. Large as well. Bag it came in was beat up and flimsy but the product was fine.

These tips are relatively easy to use. I have experience with regular decorating tips and these weren't much different to use. In fact, it was easier to make flowers, since they come out with a single squeeze. There's no need to pipe individual petals. Even a beginner could manage to turn out attractive baked goods with these tips. Just check out one of the many videos available online.

I really like the results of looking at all the different designs you can do with these decorating tips. I've tried several times to use them and have been disappointed each time. Your buttercream has to be just the right consistency for it to work. You have to add more confectioners' sugar to stiffen up the buttercream, and that's a hard balance to achieve. I tried stiffening up my buttercream, and even chilling it in the fridge, nada still didn't work. These decorating tips use a lot of buttercream too, more than the normal Wilton tips. I was very disappointed.

Haven't used these piping tips yet... They all look sturdy and I would recommend them for beginners like me.

I gave this product to my daughter for Christmas she likes to make cakes and she said this will help make it easier.
