Very nice
Sturdy, solid and seems to be well built. For the money it's a no brainer. If you need a good hihat stand and you don't have much money this one is excellent.9/22/13- An update: Change very nice to very, very nice. It has now seen many hours of playing time and it's as solid as the day I bought it. The only wear that I can see is the stick-on label is coming loose. It is simply a good mid-weight hi-hat stand.

Sturdy and affordable
Easy set up, sturdy and affordable. Compared to my Griffin, Ludwig, Pearl, Sonor and TAMA mid-priced stands, I'd rate this third behind the Sonor with the TAMA rating #1. TAMA has a smoother action and beefier clutch. Like the BSX.....Love the TAMA!
