The slots in the cage are too big and most of the white, even when cooked falls through. Trying to get a microwaved poached egg where the yolk stays soft and the white is thoroughly cooked is difficult because the microwave cooks everything evenly. I should've realized that whatever setting or however long I cook the egg for, this doesn't do it and I will go back to stove top cooking.

It's very easy to use, just took a few trials to get the the amount of time in microwave to get the eggs as I like them. However it's very handy and easy to use. I can't make poached eggs like my Gran did so this is the next best thing.

There needs to be some instructions on time and which power to use on microwave as not yet got the perfect egg. When mastered I am sure it will be perfect.

It takes a few attempts to get it just right. I found spraying the cup with light oil first helped to make removing the poached egg easy, and ensuring the egg is covered with water is important.

I got these for my daughter and she is still having problems getting a good poached egg she has tried everything .personally i think th ese was a waste of money .

Waste of money. Does not cook egg evenly. Egg explodes if yoke not pierced.

Very well made. I use with boiled water & pinch of salt. Always 2 eggs ( doesn’t cook 1 very well). No instructions so you have to wing it at first. Good results though!

Still trying to get the time right, you need to adjust the timing according to size of egg (oblivious probably) and amount of water you have added too. Start with 1min and 30 seconds and increments of 10 seconds thereafter. Great way of poaching an egg though and easy to clean up afterwards
