Good lock without battery
I am going to install this lock on my side garage door , the lock Is rock solid , very easy to program , there is a video on you-tube To see the video just scan the paperwork that comes with the lock It is real heavy duty , and the stainless steel looks great Just remember you have to lock the door each time you leave it does not lock automatic. Which I like ! And finally the price is fair for a great lock

GREAT PRODUCT AND WORKS GREAT TOO!
I installed this lockset 3 days ago. We constantly go in and out during the day since we are self-employed. We go home to eat, sometimes take a nap, or retrieve something we forgot. So the lockset is getting a good workout.Installation is easy although a little tedious since you have to use the Allen wrench which only allows about 2/3 of a turn at a time. Setting the code is easy and straightforward. I used 6 digits including the A B character. You may have to try a couple of times before you get the hang of it. Opening is a cinch, but be sure you have a light source at night to see the buttons. I am not sure how weatherproof this lockset is, but if it looks good after a month of use, I will use it on my shed door which has no overhead rain protection. Maybe the Seller can give us some realistic input on this.I own several apartments and I feel that this lockset will give me a simple, mechanical (no batteries needed), digital entry system and do away with keys. This is why I decided on using it in my home. Overall, the lockset is easy to install, easy to use, and a lot more convenient than keys.

Very good product for the price
We've used this handle for 6 months. The inside knob works really well. It's got a great feel to it, where it doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. The outside handle is really good too, but we do on occasion find that the lever sticks. It's not bad or difficult for an adult, you just notice it gets hung for a second as you push, but my daughter can't get enough strength/leverage at times to get past the "stick".Finish has held up really well. Easy install too.

Great product and BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!
If you are looking for a lock for multiple applications, this Elemake mechanical lock is a must! I have tried so many different locks from so many different brands but nothing compares to this one. The digital ones look nice but when it rains and when moisture gets in or if it runs out of battery, it renders the unit useless. Had to replace so many of them for that reason. BUT these Elemake mechanical lock always works because it is mechanical and requires no battery. BUT as great as this lock is, Elemake has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and really stands behind their products. Lis is the most helpful and responsive customer rep. I have ever interacted with. She really goes above and beyond and is a great reflection on Elemake as a company. For that reason, I will always purchase an Elemake lock and you should too.

Want to give it more stars, but... defective.
I have only had this installed for a few days and it already stopped working. Followed instructions, but buttons lock up after one or two uses and it stops being accessible. I have to use the key to unlock it, take it apart, fiddle with the buttons and combination settings, then put it back together. Works perfectly for one or two uses, then all the buttons lock up again and it won't work. Been just over a month since it was delivered, and I only just recently installed it, so this is quite disappointing, as I can no longer return it.

Solid and easy to use.
Very glad I got this. I have a fairly large shop on my property and when I'm home I'm in and out constantly, so much easier to punch in a quick code to enter than to dig out the keys. It is sturdy and simple to form muscle memory of the buttons to just hit em and go. Love it.

Great for multiple people
We have a pole barn that is used by the whole family and they are always calling saying the key wasn't where it is supposed to be.I finally broke down and got this to solve that issue. Now keep in mind this is only a $60 dollar entry lockset, not a $200 one. I know this would not be the high end version. However, I am very happy with the way it works. No electronics so no batteries and no hacking.I read the instructions which I do not normally do but it's a good thing I did. When I went to install the lockset I noticed that same thing others have mentioned. The latch hits the back of the large hole. It's about an 1/8" off. I solved this by taking a small gouge from my Lathe and it easy removed enough wood to allow the latch to seat all the way.Once that lockset was disassembled (you remove the screw from the center of the back and the lock pin plate rotates up and off), you find half of the pins are silver and half are gold.Pull all the pins out with the tweezers provided. Then when you figure what code you want place the gold ones in those positions and the silver ones in all the others. The downside is that the combination can be put in is any order but for a Pole Barn, that's fine for our needs. All in all, I really like this and already have had a call and was able to get them in over the phone.
