I loathe housework, and this has been a godsend, doing the hoovering while I do pleasanter jobs.Good for: wide, open spaces where it can bumble around to it's heart's content.Tedious going over the same spot of high-traffic carpeting (the Flotex in my bathroom which is an absolute dust trap has not looked so good in years).Bad about: corners, around furniture and the 'off-side'. It really needs side brushes on both sides so it doesn't matter which way it trundles along edges.Also, the base unit is very light and tends to get bashed around and shifted so it's no longer accessible (the trailing cord doesn't help with that). I've solved that by tucking the base unit into the concave back of a decorative door stop.Now if only there was a robot that did the stairs and dusted bookshelves...

Stopped working after 18months light use. Had a part replaced under warranty which didn’t fix the problem. Now having to send it away for repair. Not impressed especially considering how expensive it was to buy in the first place.

I don’t know about Alexa. However, this product is excellent. It works well with my I phone as a controller. Also you can put it in any room. It hoovers hard floors and carpets really well. This is my third one and by far the Best Buy.
