Hilarious Fishing Cartoons

John Troy pokes sometimes exaggerated humor at how easily fishing morphs from hobby to obsession, with occasional plays on words instead. Some edge close to Gary Larson-type commentary on humans and animals, though rarely approaching the same kind of darkish humor. Fishing enthusiasts will find much to enjoy, while lay people may not understand all the references.

Only received two stars because the captions are so small you need a magnifying glass to read them. Very poor job by the publisher. The cartoons themselves are funny and in this the author did a good job.

Buying for my father-in-law is quite difficult because he has everything he wants and needs. If he wants it he gets it because he is in the position to do so. He loves hunting and fishing and he loves comics so put the two together and we found this. What a great gift.

Everyone that picks our book loves it. Lots of laughs. We have three vacation homes in the mountains and I have purchased three of this book and three of Hilarious Hunting Cartoons

I gave this book as a gift t a fisherman and he said he really enoyed laughing and reading it. I was happy to find it on Amazon for a good price.

Very funny, but had hoped for UK-based not USA, and river rather than sea, as it was a gift for my Father-inLaw. It still amused him, though!
