Amkette Hush Pro Air Slim and Silent Wireless Mouse with USB Receiver (Red)

What did I like :1. The mouse is available on Amazon at a very attractive pricing which is great to be honest.2. The mouse looks good; has a matte finish all over it.3. You would not find a mouse at this price range with a DPI switching functionality apart from Amkette, which is amazing.4. If you turn on your AC at home or just a fan you might not hear a single mouse click sound until you really start putting your ears close to it (LOL), which is awesome.What I did not like :1. The mouse in general looks good, but the matte finish could've been a bit better to make it look a bit more premium (however one has to keep in mind of the pricing).2. The personal grief of mine is the left mouse button which is slightly on the tighter side. It works but you need to press it a bit more to get a hold of it. Whenever I am selecting some text, halfway the mouse button stops selecting and I have to redo selecting. Get ready to exercise (LOL). The scroll button also makes me scared that something wrong might happen (either it would stop working completely or maybe start to give me some errors) because of it's flimsiness.3. It's an aerodynamic mouse which is great in terms of looks but I am a kind of person who holds the mouse completely during it's usage and that is a bit tougher if you too hold a mouse the same way.4. Do not think about doing any gaming with the mouse or you would end up with a malfunctioned mouse.Overall feedback :Pretty good but yes, some few bits of things mentioned above really need to get improved. I personally bought this item because of Amkette's pricing and features it offers over the all mices available at similar pricing and moreover Amkette is an Indian brand. Yes the product is made in China (sigh) but in the future they might start to manufacture their products in India. Let's hope for the best. And, major thing is, nothing is the best. Everything has some or the other cons. So I prioritized the features. Before buying this one, I bought an HP X3500 which lasted only 6 months and costed way more at the time I got it. So you should go for this one. It is really good.

So it feels good, it installed and started working lightning fast. The bottom to turn the power on and off at the bottom is a bit tiny and hard to reach. It doesn't start smoothly from sleep mode. It has a scroll bar when you press the wheel. not sure what the red botton does, got the mouse yesterday and it doesnt have any instructions. it has a slot for the USB in the battery compartment and it uses and comes with 1 AA battery. Apart from that not too thrilled its made in China. overall not bad. Ohh it is a pretty wide and long mouse. so if you have small hands or are used to mini mouses than this is going to feel large - but not bulky.

Amkette Hush Pro Air is a good pointer device. Although its not pleasing to hold compared to my previous Dell Basic Wired Mouse which ran me almost for 4 years. my palm does not completely rest on it as the top surface has large curvature radius (close to being flat). DPI settings can be adjusted between 3 different values by a single button. Liked: soft clicks , dpi adjustment, battery lifeDisliked: not up to the good quality, i have to place a replacement which even the replaced one seems of not so good quality like click sound is soft but its still audible like a ruffled paper... mouse when placed on inclined surfaces even a mild one tend too slip away which is inconvenient if placed on writing pad while sitting in a study chair...Not so much of a design but okay...A suggestion: your are bound to get a bad product 30 to 40 percent of the time...

Post my painful disposition, manufacturer contacted me and offered to resolve the issue. The device was picked up by manufacturer and a new device was delivered in couple of days. The replaced mouse has been working correctly without draining out the battery. I feel solaced by sensitivity shown by manufacturer. They are, however, advised to make the replacement window respectable and reasonable, 10 days window cast doubt on product reliability. The support by manufacturer is appreciated and instill confidence in the product.
