Hunter Indoor / Outdoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and remote control - Seahaven 52 inch, Nobel Bronze, 59315

When the fan initially arrived, one of the blades was badly marked. We were told to contact Hunter directly. Customer service quickly and pleasantly sent a new package of blades so we delayed the installation of the fan. Second set of blades was the wrong color and different product number. I actually caught this on the email confirmation and the next day the correct one were also sent. That package was great. Needed to have a licensed, professional electrician as there had never been a fan in the spot before. The electrician was great but the fan only had 2 speeds instead of 3 and the remote did not work correctly, even after replacing the batteries. Customer Service, again was very nice and determined after trouble shooting that the fan was defective. Yet another fan sent with a return label for the original fan which we were to take down, take apart and return. Electrician returned and installed the new fan which also had problems. He actually need parts from both fans to make it work correctly and not wobble. Bottom line, the fan is finally perfect but the added cost of the electrician we had to cover ourselves. That cost ended up more expensive than the fan and Hunter said "not their problem." They replaced fan which was the guaranteed portion.

These fans look great on our patio and put out a good airflow. The blades are reversible so we chose the darker side. One of the remotes is a little finicky and doesn't work as well as the other one.

We actually used this fan to replace the one in our bedroom that we had purchased a few months ago. This fan is SO much better than our previous one. I am really happy that we ordered it. It comes with reversible blades so that you can have a dark walnut look, or a lighter contrasting look. Since we were placing it in our bedroom that we like to keep dark, we went with the dark walnut side. It is gorgeous. The fan really adds a lot of finesse and style to our room. Here are my pros and cons that come with this particular fan.Cons:-It comes with a remote and does not have pull cords. If you loose the remote you are in trouble.-We are a little unsure about how to work certain features (i.e. dimming) because the remote instructions are poor. Basic functions are easy though.-The lightbulb comes with it and is a circular, unique lightbulb that will probably be extremely expensive to replace if it goes out.- the price point is higher than I would normally spend on a fan (although I do feel that it is worth it).-My Husband said it was a little hard to get everything set up and ready to install. He did this part while I was at work, but he said he spent an hour or two on it. Once he prepped it, we installed the entire thing together in a few minutes.Pros:-the remote comes with a holder than can easily be attached to the wall. If you are smart about it, the remote goes by the light switch and never leaves the holder. This actually makes it easy to use as long as you have a small light by the bed to turn off right before bed (we do).-The fan has an extremely high wind output. It definitely will cool down your room.-It is gorgeous and adds style to the room.-I actually love the lack of pull cords. It looks much nicer and you don't have to fumble around in the dark for cords.-The light is bright (and LED), but diffused inside the glass so that it does not blind you when it is on and you are laying beneath it.-The fan is quiet when it runs!Overall, I think that this fan is well worth the price. While I do have concerns about a possibility of a lost remote (we agreed never to remove it from the wall, so this shouldn't be an issue) and a replacement bulb eventually (it is LED and SHOULD last a long time..), I would still highly recommend it. The positives definitely outweigh my concerns.-It comes with a limited lifetime warranty

According to my husband, this ceiling fan was easy to install. Though he has installed many fans, he still reads instructions and said these were straightforward and well laid out. It's the only four-blade fan I've ever had and I must say I'm very impressed. Air moves in our living room as well as it did with our larger (too large for the room) five-blade fan. The dark color initially seemed overly dramatic and was hard to get used to but now I absolutely love it. I thought the combination of the very dark color and only having four blades would somehow strike me as slightly disproportionate, but that has not proven true. I've also never had a remote control fan and must say I've found it more convenient than I thought I would. We used the six inch down rod but think I would have preferred a longer one. From what I understand, longer rods are readily available at home stores and I may have hubby change this at some point.The whole fan is just so pretty and provides plenty of light. I can't hear it at all and now wish I had installed it in our bedroom.

This item is still awaiting installation, but I have unpacked and taken a good look at it. I will say that it was carefully packaged; it was delivered early in the evening, before expected, and was left outside the front gate overnight in a brief rain-shower. However, because of the plastic wrapping around the various elements, and the Styrofoam protective inserts, the only rain damage was to the outside layer of cardboard. The instructions are clear, and the design of the fan itself is indeterminate; it would fit any decor from the early 20th century on; from Craftsman to 60s Moderne. It is also quite substantial - nothing cheap-appearing about it.

This is a nice hybrid of modern style combined with the traditional rubbed bronze ad wood blades. The directions are very good and it took about an hour to put together and install (as a replacement for an existing fan). I prefer the lighter wood side of the blades but there is also the option of a dark brown mahogany. The remote control is a nice add. The light can be dimmed which is nice. Overall, very quiet.

I ordered this fan with the intention of mounting it on our front porch ceiling, but ended up installing it in our master bedroom. The instructions were clear and the assembly and installation went smoothly.The remote control is a very welcome feature. I'm thinking about buying one or two more as we remodel our 114-year-old Victorian home.
