Works great for my needs.
This adapter suited my needs perfectly. Bought it mainly to hook up my Mac to the Ethernet. Worked great for that and the power cable. Have not tried any other ports at this time. Appears to be very solid and well constructed. Don’t move the Mac around but I would disconnect everything particularly if I was moving it any distance. Easy to do.

No cable but has all the ports I need.
First, this has no USB-C cable connection. Trust me, I keep buying USB-C adapters from amazon. Unfortunately, no USB-C adapter lasts more than 6 months. That's the reason I choose this USB-C adapter without cableVery light, I thought it was plastic material, but I was wrong. AluminumAs IT, I need few features 1 Power adapter. 2 HDMI 3 USB ports 4 Ethernet. Ethernet port is the function I need for IT, REALTEK 1000MB is the one I expected. No special driver. This one only fits the macbook, tried on Dell XPS laptop, not fit.The price is cheaper than other seller, so I am happy.

Fits and works well
A great, small footprint versatile adapter. All features work well. Only downside, hard to avoid, is the ethernet cable connection requires any stand used to hold computer vertical if being used as a desktop with keyboard and monitor, to be elevated a few inches - not really a problem.

Easy to use
I like that it plugs directly in to the Laptop and doesn't just hang from a wire. Everything on it works great, I just wish, since it takes up 2 USB-C ports that it would have 2 USB-C ports on it. While I gained 2 USB-A 3.0 ports, reclaimed 1 USB-C port, a Ethernet port (I would rather have the speed of a wired connection), an HDMI 4K port and 2 different card readers, I did lose 1 USB-C port. For what it does at its price it is a great value.

Works as expected
Quick shipping. Able to connect charger, HDMI, and a USB hub. I do not have the need or means to test the other ports. Only issue is that it gets a little loose over time (and weight of the HDMI cable). I feel like Apple gets the blame on that for paring down to 2 USB ports and handing port management off to the end user. Apple gets 0 stars, PureFix gets 5 stars.

Looks good on paper... reality is a different story
ANOTHER EDIT: The review still stands. Taking that bonus star away because the seller keeps sending e-mails asking me to change the review. Perhaps if they invested the effort into making the product rather than getting people to take down honest reviews, they would do better!EDIT: Added a star for follow up. Company contacted me and said that they would pass concerns onto their designers to improve the product. Then asked me to delete the review. :(Cheaply made. For $60 I'd expect more. As soon as you plug in any cable, the connections into the Macbook become flaky and will disconnect and reconnect constantly. There should be a way to latch it to the laptop. It feels like lightweight plastic, but it could be aluminum. Returned it the same day I got it.Plugged it in and attached the Macbook power cable to it (PD) and a USB to a microphone and the slightest movement of the power cord sent the Mac into battery mode. And if the USB cable moved at all the recording software would crash as the mic "disapppeared" and would need to be re-started. And similarly, if you move the laptop a little bit... it also disconnects.Might be a decent travel accessory for light travel, but for any type of business use, this is not worth it.

Provides necessary function in compact size and good price
With Macbooks going all in on USB-C a USB-C hub is a must own device in order to be compatible with legacy USB-A/B type connectors, HDMI and even ethernet. This is all provided in this single device which is compact, light and and portable and comes at a good value. I just bought it so I don't know how long it will last, but for now I am quite happy with the purchase.

Not SD CARD Friendly...
I really liked this hub. At at first I didn't like the idea of hanging hub. So I went with this because it looks like it's a part of the machine and it turns out actually miss the dangling Docs because whenever you try to take something out of the USB inadvertently pulls everything off so you could possibly lose data you could possibly mess mess up an editing do something just so you know that can ruin your day and then you could be like me who has now and ineffective memory card and which I use to work this sucks**edit** while my memory card with the work I did is toasted. I did want to leave some value. Use the hub backwards. There's more leverage (at least on my macbook) I'll finalize this product as a three because I should have known not to . leave the memory card in there thhat long (5-6 hours). so remember that everyone. I hope the seller understands that I liked this product, it just wasn't designed well enough for all the extra ports we need**
