Great book for kids up to 8 and possibly beyond as it is so informative. Great thick material and pages. Very informative, cute pictures and illustrations. We loved it

Good quality book that is great at explaining the basics of day of the dead to children. My 3 year old enjoyed it and also liked the illustrations.

I bought this and a couple other board books about Dia de Muertos. This was by far my favorite. It was colorful, informative, and displayed diversity. Would definitely recommend!

My 1yo absolutely loves this book. The illustration is amazing. I was looking for the day of the Dead book to introduce the holiday to my kids and this was perfect for my kids age ranges. Would definitely recommend!!

This book is hands down the best way to introduce this meaningful celebration to people of all generations. The story is well thought out and informative and presented in a way that does not talk down to children but also makes it informative and entertaining to adults. Coupled with the whimsical yet stunning visuals by Jorge Gutierrez ,this book is a must! A+++

My now 3.5yo has loved this book for the last year. He’s afraid of most slightly spooky things but this one isn’t scary for him at all. It’s adorable to hear him say Spanish words too. It’s informative for all of us (we didn’t grow up with this tradition) and the artwork is cute. Looking forward to getting more of these books so we can learn more about other cultures :)

Perfect way to tell the story of Dia de los Muertos in kid lingo. Love the cute, and colorful artwork. Much needed in your book collection, and especially to have out during fall/Halloween season!

I wanted a book that talked about day of the dead in a toddler relatable and not scary type of way. The book and illustrations are perfect and perfectly depict the love and celebration of family in life and death. It’s become a nightly favorite— We love it!

Davvero un libro ben fatto, io l'ho preso per il mio bimbo di 4 mesi che è molto curioso da tutto ciò che è colorato e sgargiante. Le immagini sono davvero simpatiche e belle, le guarda con piacere. Interessante la tradizione del dia de muertos e gli insegnamenti che dà, questi ultimi adatti per bambini più grandi ovviamente.
