I do love my S on S
Always used in Pennsylvania when I lived there but you cannot find it in New Hampshire. I had about 15 packages in my freezer but the freezer went and I lost all of the packages. I do love my S on S. I am more comfortable now that I know where I can purchase more when I use up what I now have. Thank you

Superb but salty
Delicious in creamed chipped beefI highly reccommend soaking for 10-15 minutes to reduce saltiness

It's what's for dinner!
When I graduated Harvard Law three years ago and began my profitable career at the firm, i was eating steak almost every day. That's the life, you think. Steak every day. T-bone. Sirloin. Strip. Prime rib on Sundays. After a year of professional law and gourmet cuisine, a feeling of darkness started to appear somewhere in my chest. At first I thought, could it be all the privileged white-collar criminals I'm keeping out of jail? Perhaps my ethical code is disrupting my bodily functions and a greater change in my life course would help mitigate this newfound imbalance. But I quickly realized that the problem was not my career, but all the steak! Eating all this expensive and moist steak had simply too luxurious; I was starting to forget where I came from. Ever since, I have been purchasing and consuming large quantities of Sliced Dried Beef. It has quieted all my woes and the little voice in my head that sometimes questions my life decisions. Thank god for dried beef. Truly.

very good dried beef, but WHY so much?
This dried beef makes great creamed chipped beef. One can buy it in supermarkets in Philadelphia, or in Maryland and Delaware, but not apparently here in Connecticut. (I guess the managers here suppose not enough people would know what to do with it.) However, on the Amazon.com site a shipment costs nearly $120 plus almost $25 shipping. That must be one hell of a lot of product! Too bad it can't be bought in, say, lots of 10 of the small packages (about 5 oz. each) as they are sold in supermarkets. What retail customer not doing a fund-raiser is going to want that much?
