Cannot figure out how to connect the wires into the sub and keep them secure

This product is amazing and functions as described.
Love this! My only hangup was the connections for the speaker wire are a little complicated to get. You simple strip your wire, unscrew the black and red caps, insert your bare wire (1/2 in or so) into inputs and screw down. Don't screw down if wire is sticking out it will cut it off and you'll have to begin again.
