Our walls are tiled and I did not want to commit to drilling into them on the chance they cracked, or that I changed to a p bath screen later so this seemed like the logical solution. Looking at reviews for a chrome plated one I avoided that and got the white painted one as I have learnt through a similar situation with a radiator that painted chrome hates bathrooms. Installed it myself and it was unbelievable easy (5'4 female with no DIY experience for background)and has now been up for over a year and not budged at all. Very happy and got it from the warehouse returns on Amazon so was a massive discount top. Highly recommend!

Had to faff a bit to get it to the right width and it did slip a little on tile edges, but once aligned in the centre of a tile at each end, it has stayed up without problem even with the kids yanking the shower curtain.

I intrinsically distrust any bathroom product that claims to be rust resistant, you understand. In the humid British bathrooms I'm familiar with, every supposedly rustproof shower caddy is basically bright orange within a couple months. Also, I distrust the walls of my current bathroom in general, because the tile is just about uneven enough that things tend to slip off of it. Like, you know, my previous shower curtain rail.After getting sick of hearing horrid crashes in the night of the pole and curtain falling down, I eventually ordered this. It has been marvellously well-behaved and basically rust free ever since. I'm staring at it now, going on eight months after instalment, and it has never fallen, and also I'm having difficulty seeing any traces of rust. Maybe a couple tiny discoloured dots, but that's about it. It's still nice and shiny despite spending well over half a year in this humid shoebox of a bathroom. I do wish my razorblades had the same sort of fortitude, but you can't have everything. Basically, this thing does the job, and that's what you want out of a shower rail, so.

It served just the right purpose. Length and quality. If you are trying to install a curtain without drilling a hole, this is your best option

There was some wasted space under my child's loft bed so we decided to put up this pole to use as a clothes hanging rail. It worked a treat! Might not take the weight of heavy coats or adult clothes? But it's perfect for our needs. Was simple to put up and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it!
