Works perfectly!
I have a Pfaff Creative 4.5 and this hoop works great. My machine recognized it as a 200mmx200mm hoop and I had no issues. The magnets are super strong and do a good job at holding my quilt in place while I embroider/quilt.

Great Value…Great Embroidery !
The hoops for embroidery machines are so expensive that I’m always open for a quality substitution. The key being “quality”. After reading many reviews , I felt comfortable ordering this Embroidex 8x8 hoop.I have a Husqvarna Viking Epic machine and I left the setting on the regular 200mmx 200mm hoop and didn’t have any issue with the machine recognizing the hoop at all. It comes with 6 magnets , but I ended up using 8 in my project , which wasn’t an issue as I have 3 other magnetic hoops. The OEM hoops have raised lines designating center on them , and as far as I can tell , that is the only difference I have noticed between them. For a $170 savings , I can live without the raised lines! The hoop came with a nice grid and a small manual, and as I said earlier 6 magnets. The magnets are designed a bit differently … smaller at the bottom and rising up higher ( there is a pic of them side by side) , but they are just as strong and held my project as well as my original ones.Overall… if you are considering this, don’t waste your time looking any further. This is a nice hoop. I can’t imagine what you wouldn’t be happy about with it.Happy Embroidering !!

Box is labeled for Pfaff/Viking Machine
Looks to be the exact same frame that I could get from my sewing machine dealer, only not with the big price mark up. I have used it several times and have had no problems with it. Was warned by dealer about using "off brand" hoops, but this seems genuine and I have not experienced anything bad while using it.

does not hold fabric
terribly unhappy with this hoop. The magnets are not strong enough to hold fabric

Fits Pfaff Creative Icon 2
I was skeptical that this after market hoop would work on my Creative Icon 2. It snapped easily into place with no problem. However the machine did not recognize the hoop as a Metal Quilter’s Hoop 200x200 so I tried just the regular Quilter’s Hoop 200x200 setting and it worked! Very pleased! I also ran a few lines of embroidery and the enclosed magnets held everything nice and tight. BTW it came with 6 magnets not just 4 as pictured.

Magnetic Hoops are best for some projects and this one did not disappoint.
Magnetic Hoops work better for certain projects. For instance, quilting a project such as a bulky quilt that includes a layer of batting in addition to the fabric, is easier with a magnetic hoop. This hoop worked great, but I did use an extra set of magnets.

Love this!
It does just what it says. It is a great hoop and has made my life so much easier in the sewing room. I love being able to stick stabilizer to the back and boom, I'm ready to stitch. I'm getting the smaller version next.
