I bought this to replace my pur in sink purifier. I was reluctant at 1st because I did not know even though it said it would fit my model but it did. It was easy to replace and works fine. Too soon to rate how long it lasts compared to a real pur.

Works well in my kitchen faucet filter even though it’s another name brand. Very effective!

I bought these as a much cheaper alternative to the Pur brand filter cartridges. These ones fit the Pur faucet-mounted filter just fine, but the flow rate through the cartridge is much faster than through the original Pur cartridges, leading me to wonder whether it is doing as good a job of removing contaminants. I honestly don't know what there might be in my water that I'd want to filter out, and no way to test the relative efficacy of different filters. I plan to keep using these, but I'm not sure they're doing as good a job as the Pur brand.

Theses are flatly too expensive. BUT they are the same price and efficiency as installing an all-home water purifier. Since you don't have to purify yuor shower and toilet water, why put them on anything other than your kitchen tap? And who wants to pour your water twice, once from the tap and once from some filter jug using up your refrigerator space on a hot hot Texas summer day? Cheaper for sure than a fridge water filter that will break 34 seconds before your warranty.

I have used this product for years. I trust it to filter out a truckload of contaminates that can be in our city water, such as pesticides, lead, mercury and chlorine odor, just to name some. I don’t know what I’d do without it!
