Read before buying
Since Woodpeckers won't be upfront about this item's dirty little secret, I'm going to spill it in this review. Woodpeckers doesn't guarantee this T-"square" to be accurate to within 0.0085 degrees of a perfect 90 like their other items with "square" in their name. If you look for the 1-star review you can read the full disclosure from the Woodpecker rep that left a comment. The gist of it is that the T-square is accurate to within 0.017 degrees of a perfect 90, which is twice the error, at maximum, of what their other squares would be. If you go to the Woodpecker site you'll notice the "unmatched accuracy" sticker is conspicuously missing from the T-Square page. This being said, if you do the calculation, the 32 inch T-square will have about 9/1000" maximum deviation from a perfect 90 over the course of its length, still much less than 1/64. Some people may feel that kind of error, even if its an upper bound, isn't acceptable over a 32in length, which is why I've disclosed it. Others may feel that being less than a 64th off over almost 3 feet is more than acceptable, up to you. The point is that if you're looking to get as close to square as possible, the T-square isn't what you're looking for.All that being said, this is a magnificent, robust, accurate tool. Effortlessly, you can measure exactly how far you want to be from an edge. No guessing, no eyeballing. The holes are generously placed at 1/16 intervals and the larger holes at every inch are a nice touch. Drawing parallel lines becomes a cinch. It is large, but not cumbersome to use. It mates with edges in a very satisfying way and doesn't wobble/play whatsoever. You'll understand what I mean the first time you use it. The case it comes with is surprisingly nice and a decent quality in my opinion. The T-square itself also kind of looks like the blade of a sword, neat.I first ordered the 24 inch but the anodizing seemed kind of off, there were scratches along the length of the blade and a couple of spots where it looked like it had even chipped a little. Not acceptable on an item of this supposed caliber. I returned it and decided to get a 32 in version. The 32 in I received seemed to have a much better fit and finish than the 24 and I'm happy with it.

Another perfect tool from Woodpeckers
Woodpeckers tools are known for their excellent quality. This t-square definitely lives up to the reputation. The rule is perfectly straight and set dead square to the base. The base, which keeps the square supported on the stock via small lips, glides effortlessly against the edge of the stock while remaining perfectly snug and square to the workpiece. The beveled edges on the rule help to achieve accurate measuring and marking. The holes on the inside of the rule make it easy to draw precise lines down the stock while sliding the square along the edge of the piece. You do need to make sure you use thick lead, as the holes are large enough that there is room for your pencil to slide around just a bit while moving the square. This square is best used on sheet goods due to its size.

Excellent product
I bought a 32" & 12" T-square recently. I am very impressed. They are extremely accurate (as I expected). My only complaint was they were supposed to come with the "rack it" hanger, but neither one did. I just made my own.

Appears to be a factory second or customer return - UPDATED!
UPDATE: Added the following paragraph and changed rating from 3 to 5Reached out to WoodPeckers and they exceeded expectations. I sent them pictures and they immediately identified the issue and made arrangements to replace with a new unit. Great customer service WoodPeckers!I own several woodpecker tools and have always been impressed with the precision and build quality. However with this tool, big disappointment. First off, the laser etch writing is “spotty” in its appearance. Second, there appear to be “milling” marks that are not cared for post production. And finally, the tool just appears dirty. Not sure if the aluminum has oxidized or what but it looks terrible.Does the tool work? -Yes. Am I proud to hang (display) it and show it off to friends? - No.I am sure wood peckers would take this back BUT in the past they have made me pay for shipping.Big disappointment Woodpeckers, you missed the mark on this one.

AMAZING! Totally Insane
AMAZING! Totally Insane. I can't quite find the right words. It's a work of art. It's rare this day in age to hold something of this caliber of build quality in your hands. Folks just don't make things of this caliber anymore. Best $150 I have spent on anything in a long time. It's hefty and build like a tank yet it still feels good in your hand. It's very stable when applied to whatever surface you're working on. No wobbling etc. The milled out holes is brilliant for super fast and accurate work. The display case is brilliant and very nice. A must for anyone needing a serious t-square. I'm using it for my paintings. You won't regret it!

Very accurate
Well made, very accurate although pricey. I don't mind paying good money for good tools and good toys. As they say, "cry once buy once". Much better and more accurate than just using a typical square and trying to keep your pencil at the right place. The only caveat, although mostly from my shaky 72 yo hands, it's hard for me to use a mechanical pencil without breaking the fragile leads. Note: Although printed on the product to use 0.7mm - 1.0 mm lead, 0.5mm works also. I will definitely buy again from Woodpeckers.Overall, it's a definite winner!

First impressions WOW! Value for $$ we shall see
So, my first real woodworking tool and let me say that you immediately feel the craftsmanship … I mean wow! Now value for the money? I will see once I start using it. Woodpecker prices are far from comparable. It’s like trying to justify a Festool, does the price delta really translates? I sure hope so. Will have to buy Woodpecker’s tools slowly, but if they really make that much of a difference then “here we go!”
