I thought it was a cardboard book, it's not. There is only a few words per page, which makes it developmentally appropriate for a baby story, but they can't touch it cause it's paper. I wasn't expecting that. It's a cute story though.

Bought this book in lieu of a card for a baby shower. High quality with a nice message and bright pages. It was very well received by all !! Would recommend!

So nice and tender, suitable for very little baby. I love the illustrations, I am a fan of Eric Carle.

The size of the book is small. Not a board book but similar in size. As always, a very colorful and beautiful book by Eric Carle! Can't wait to read this with my kindergartners in Mothers Day.
