FURminator Undercoat deShedding Tool for Large Long Hair Dogs 23-41 kg

Purchased size ‘small’ for my 4kg short hair Chihuahua duo and let me tell you this is a life saver for shedding season 🙌🏼One of mine sheds so much hair you could create another dog from it, coupled with the fact my furniture is black / dark grey and he is cream = stress 🤣They shed heavily twice a year, it began last week and I’ve brushed them both twice since and they both seem to quite enjoy it! You can see how effective it is from how much hair it removes, and I like how you can remove the hair from the brush so easily. It’s quite pricy for a brush but I would definitely recommend to any other small dog owners who are struggling with the hair everywhere!Would also recommend doing it outside (I learnt this the hard way) 🤣

Hands down the best comb/brush we have ever had.We have a labrador that needs to be brushed regularly, and this is perfect, it's very quick and effective, so easy to hold and use.Our pup loves it too which is even better, hes got auch a thick coat if left and leaves him shiny soft afterwards.It has a little button the removes the hair so easily and never get tangled up.Would make a great gift too for someone you know that has a pet with a thick coat.

arrived promptly and used straight away.very good at getting the hair from my Great Danes coat - I am not too sure on the release mechanism it seems a bit iffy but don't need it, you can pull the hair out so its fine.would use this company again.

I bought this thinking it would be another gimmick on the market, but I was wrong. I have huskies that are in full moult and leaving hair everywhere. The Furminator has been brilliant. It has taken the loose undercoat out and made my dogs look stunning and well groomed with little effort. My female husky hates grooming time but she is very happy to have this comb used on her. You don't need to be brutal with it, a gentle comb through really does they job. Just makes sure you don't work on the same area for too long. I definitely recommend this comb for husky owners.

As a Husky owner this is a Must have!!I brush him and hoover everyday just never enough, it’s everywhere!!!After using this most of his undercoat was out I’m talking 2 x black bin bags worth!!Amazing comb, just be careful not to go over the same spot again and again as it is very sharp !Love the release button aswell to empty into a bag as you go along.Brilliant product 👍

I was a little overwhelmed by the choice of grooming products when we got our Border Terrier. This breed in particular has a coat that is preferably removed by hand. However, I was looking for something to thin our her undercoat and stop her overheating. To my surprise, this product popped up in a search and on further inspection via the Furminator website realised it would be perfect for our dog.----It arrived and I must admit I was a little dubious as the teeth looked quite invasive, but I needn't have worried. Upon dragging through my dog's coat, I was amazed to see that the top coat was completely untouched, but the downy fluff building up under her dog coat was coming out easily. I was amazed.----It also has a little white tab on the head to press down and this pushes up a piece of plastic which ejects the hair from the teeth. It's so easy. The handle is durable rubber and very easy to grip even if using chalk whilst stripping their coat.My dog wasn't up nor down about this product being used. Showing no signs of discomfort I quickly managed to remove a fair amount of undercoat.----The relief in finding a useful product is just incredible...especially for a dog with such a difficult coat like a Border Terrier. I'm so pleased I gave it a go. Plus it's so easy to do that you don't think twice about brushing your dog regularly. Couldn't be quicker and couldn't be easier. The hair eject button is so practical too...it completely speeds up the process. Wonderful, well thought out product.

Follow the instructions, which are easy to read and you can't go wrong. I bought this because I have a saluki cross with a blown coat, and over the course of a week, just doing a little bit every day he has transformed from a scruffy fluff ball into a smooth, slim missile of a dog! I thought that the tines would be too abrasive on his skin so I was careful not to apply too much pressure. He was quite happy to lie there and let me groom him, and even turned over on command. Any dog with an undercoat will benefit from this, I promise. You will be amazed at the volume of fur you get off your dog, and they will thank you for it all summer long

Great brush for removing fur. After opening I found some of the middle teeth had cracked in places, but I thought it was a hair at first. The middle teeth fell off after one use. I can say that the rest of the brush works great, I'm worried that the sharp ends from the broken teeth that are missing in the centre might scratch my dog so I've had to very careful when using it. It's a shame that this product was broken because I would have likely given it a higher rating... I'm also concerned that the other teeth will brake off and I will end up hurting my dog.
